Chapter 21 Let Me Prove
He finally realized that Grace was the most important person in his life, but he had pushed her further and further away with his own hands.
A few days later, in the early morning, when Grace woke up, she found that the view outside the window had changed. The space across from her house had been transformed into a vast sea of roses, with deep red and light pink intertwining to form her name – “GRACE“.
At the end of the flower sea, there was a private helicopter parked, with its cabin door open. A well–dressed assistant stepped out, holding a golden–edged invitation in his hands, and handed it to Grace at her doorstep.
“Ms. Parrish, this is the global design exhibition invitation prepared for you by Mr. Kaufman. He hoped to give you a stage of your own.”
Grace was stunned. She had been designing for years, quietly and unnoticed, never imagining that one day her work would be showcased at a top global design exhibition. But now, everything was right in front of her.
She did not receive the invitation letter, and simply said coldly, “Tell Antonio that I don’t need it.”
The assistant looked hesitant, but still respectfully.id, “Mr. Kaufman has already purchased an exclusive space for the exhibition for you, and even invited top designers from around the world to collaborate with you. Even if you don’t
participate, this exhibition will be named after yout
Grace took a deep breath and a cold smile appeared on her face. “Is he trying to buy me with money?
The assistant lowered his head and said, “Mr. Kaufman said that he only wished to make up for past regrets without expecting anything in return.”
But this was just the beginning.
Soon, Grace discovered that her life was being surrounded by various “surprises“.
The set of globally limited–edition design books that she had mentioned before appeared on her desk, with each book bearing her name imprint.
The community where she lived suddenly began a large–scale renovation, with every design tailored to her habits and preferences.
Her old hobby was rediscovered, and a retro coffee shop was opened near her home, specially tailored for her. Even the origin of the coffee beans and the roasting method were her favorite flavors.
On her company’s client list, there were a series of heavyweight enterprises added. All these clients were proactive in reaching out, with the only condition being, “We hope Ms. Parrish can personally take charge.”
She used to think that these were coincidences unti he discovered the list of bosses behind those clients, almost all of whom had strong connections with Antonio.
Chapter 21 Let Me
On her birthday, Antonio even rented out the entire city’s iconic building and illuminated her name with lights, “Grace, I was wrong.”
The enormous lighted words flickered in the night sky,
capturing the attention of countless people. The entire city’s broadcast simultaneously played Antonio’s voice, which was deep and sorrowful.
“Grace, over the past decade, it was my foolishness and indifference that hurt you. I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness, but I hope you can give me a chance to prove, for the rest of my life, that I can be the person you want.”
