I turned to the man who had questioned me. “How about a race?” I suggested. “If you think I’m not up to par, let’s settle it on the track.”

A tall, lanky guy with a sympathetic look stepped forward. “The track’s already booked for a race with another team today,” he explained. “Besides, our guy here just lost to one of their racers. He’s probably in a bad mood.“.
As we spoke, a tall figure emerged from a nearby race car. The crowd from the opposing team was cheering, and the atmosphere was charged with excitement. I squinted, trying to make out the figure, and my breath caught in my throat when I realised who it was.

I was taken aback by his warm reception. “It’s good to see you too, Narik. I’m back with Sparco Racing Team. It’s been a long time.”
Narik’s eyes lit up. “I’m really looking forward to racing against you again,” he said. “It’s going to be
exciting.”
As we chatted, Narik’s teammates called him away. “I’ve got to get back,” he said reluctantly. “But
let’s catch up soon.”

Curious, I asked, “Is he really famous?”
One of the team members nodded. “Narik’s a rising star in the racing world. He’s known for his
incredible driving skills, but his results can be inconsistent. Still, he’s impressive enough to be
nicknamed ‘Ghost‘ because he’s so quick and elusive on the track.”
As we talked, the team manager from the opposing side called out. “If Sparco Racing Team can’t put
up a fight, we’ll leave. It’s clear you’re not in shape to compete.”
Our side bristled with indignation, but no one had a solid rebuttal. I felt a surge of determination. “I’ll
take the challenge,” I said firmly.
The team members exchanged surprised glances. The man who had questioned me earlier scoffed.
“Don’t let the team down,” he said, his voice dripping with doubt.
