Chapter 35
“This car has nothing to do with Silvermoon,” I said, my voice calm but firm. “My father bought it for me. And I assure you, I’m more than deserving of the title.”
I felt Lorik tighten his grip on my hand. His gaze burned into me, but I couldn’t help but wonder–was this his genuine affection? Or was he merely using me as a tool in his battle against his father, just putting on a show for Andrew, pretending to be a loving couple with me?
A sudden pang hit my heart, and I my hand away.
ly but firmly pull
flicker of surprise and hurt crossed Lorik’s eyes, as if this separation of our hands was more than just physical; it was a deeper, more profound rift.
But I was certain that the pain he felt now was not even a fraction of what I endured the day I left
Silver Moon.
Thankfully, he chose silence, refraining from questioning or showing too much emotion. We both knew exactly how to play our roles as the perfect, loving couple.
Andrew snorted, his expression twisted with disdain. “Alpha Morpheus? Don’t make me laugh. He doesn’t have that kind of money, and even if he did, he wouldn’t waste it on his forgotten daughter. You’re lying.”
Lorik’s gaze hardened as he stepped forward. “You’ve been so preoccupied with your campaign for Council Elder that you probably haven’t heard the news. Shirley’s real father isn’t Alpha Morpheus.
It’s Ethan Winter.”
Andrew’s face paled slightly as recognition dawned. “Ethan Winter? The piano virtuoso… the
billionaire Ethan Winter?”
Lorik nodded, a hint of satisfaction in his eyes. “The very same.”
Andrew’s eyes narrowed as he looked at me, disbelief etched into his features. It was as if he couldn’t reconcile the woman standing before him with the idea of being the daughter of such a
renowned figure.
“It’s a long story,” I said, cutting through the tension in the air, but that’s not what matters right fiow.” My voice was surprisingly steady, even to my own ears. “What matters is that you don’t get to belittle Lorik. He’s more than capable of leading Silvermoon, and he’s been doing so successfully for
years.”
Go My Alpha He
Wheavy silence settled over the room as all eyes turned to me. Andrew’s expression stiffened, his

1 continued, my voice gaining strength with each word “Your indifference, your disregard for those who care about you it’s shameful I took a step closer, locking eyes with him. “Lorik is a true Alpha. It has shown kindness, strength, and Intelligence–qualities you seem to have forgotten.”
The room seemed to hold its breath as I finished. I could see the shock on Andrew’s face, the
Incredulity that someone, especially me, would dare challenge him so openly. But the truth was out now, and there was no taking it back
Andrew’s eyes narrowed, his face a mask of anger. “You dare speak to me like that? Even with Ethan Winter backing you up, you’re still a woman without a wolf and not worthy of being Luna.”
His words were like a slap to my face, but before I could respond, Lena emerged within me, her presence strong and undeniable. A deep growl rumbled from her throat, echoing through the room. It was a sound that demanded attention, and everyone, even Andrew, was forced to acknowledge it.
At the party, many people hadn’t seen Lena clearly, but now, up close, they were struck by her beauty and strength.
Dalia and Andrew didn’t attend that party either. This was the first time they saw Lena, and they
were both stunned by it.
After a brief moment of surprise, Dalia happily stepped forward and warmly took my hand. “Shirley, you have a wolf now, and such a powerful one at that! Congratulations! I’m truly happy for
you.”
Andrew’s expression darkened, clearly not expecting Lena to be so impressive. He was silent for a moment before sneering, “Are you trying to threaten me with your wolf and father? Although your father is influential and wealthy, he is after all a human and brings limited benefits to Silvermog Give it up, Lorcia is the right one for Silvermoon, that Luna.”
Lorcia, who had been quietly observing, now looked at me with a challenging gaze. When facing Lorik and Andrew, she seemed demure and obedient, but her hands suddenly trembled as she
lowered her fork and knife, dropping them onto her plate.
She clutched her hand, her face twisted in pain.
Andrew immediately turned his attention to her. “What’s wrong?”
“My hand… it still hurts from the attack,” Lorcia replied, her voice laced with an underlying
ccusation.
After I Let Go My Alpha, He Knelt in Regret
shirley thinks I stole her Alpha and even arranged for thugs to smash my hand, but it was clearly nk and I who started dating first. Lorcia complained, her voice filled with grievance.
Andrew, standing nearby, added coldly, “That’s right, the one who should have become the Luna of Silver Moon was always supposed to be you”
Lorik had once told me that the attack was meant to harm him and his Luna, but Lorcia’s
involvement had always been a mystery. There was something about it that never sat right with him.
Lorik suddenly pulled out his mobile phone and dialled his Beta’s number.
“Panther, bring the rogue and the doctor who treated Lorcia here,‘ he ordered.
pon hearing this, Lorcia’s face instantly turned pale.
“So much for your lies.‘ Lorik said coldly, his gaze on Lorcia was unmistakably sharp, Faking your own injuries and pushing Shirley in front of an assassin, what else can’t you do?”
Andrew, on the other hand, looked at Lorcia suspiciously. ‘Is he telling the truth, Lorcia?
