“Fine, fine, I’ll eat!” Olivia snatched the fruit bowl and began eating.
Julian smiled indulgently. “I knew you wanted some. You’re always so contrary.”
In Chicago, Rita, seeing Olivia’s post, was furious. Olivia’s post was deliberately leaked to her by Rita, and now Olivia was using the same tactic..
Olivia hadn’t blocked several of Julian’s friends‘ girlfriends, including An Susu.
“I won’t lose to that bitch Olivia! Julian is mine!” Rita smashed things in her room.
After being released from the police station, the Crowe family kept her confined at home. She kept calling Julian; when he didn’t answer, she snuck out to find him, only to be chased away by Jiang Wenhui.
Sherry told her Julian had gone to Olivia to beg for reconciliation. Rita lost control, her family unable to reason with
her.
“Ms. Gu, Olivia is just showing off. Think about it, you’ve spent the most time with Mr. Shaw these past six months. If he still cared for her, why would he have ignored her?” An Susu comforted Rita.
Rita stepped on a shard of porcelain, injuring a maid. An Susu signaled for the maid to leavę.
Hearing An Susu, Rita calmed down slightly.“He loves me, then why is he trying to reconcile with Olivia?”
“Ms. Gu, you’re young; you don’t understand men. He might not love or care about his wife, but that doesn’t mean he wants a divorce. More importantly, Olivia initiated the divorce. A proud man like Mr. Shaw wouldn’t accept being dumped by his wife; that’s why he’s trying to reconcile.”
“So, he’s just angry that Olivia wants a divorce?”
“Exactly. In Mr. Shaw’s mind, that woman should be discarded as a castaway. If they divorce, it should be *him* who kicks her out, not the other way around.”
“You’re right! That’s exactly what Julian thinks! But now he’s only focused on Olivia, he won’t even answer my calls. What do I do?”
An Susu smiled slightly.“Ms. Gu, I heard their flight lands at two this afternoon.”
