Chapter 61
Olivia said magnanimously, “Let her speak.”
“Wen Jiejie, please don’t blame Julian Gege anymore. It was all my fault. I’ll break up with him; I won’t bother him. again. Please don’t divorce him. I beg you,” Rita cried.
Julian was surprised. Had she truly changed her mind? Olivia sneered inwardly: A strategic retreat?
“If you want to beg, beg properly. Slap yourself a hundred times; make yourself look like a pig, then I’ll consider your request, Olivia said.
Rita bit her lip, closed her eyes, and began slapping herself.
Olivia raised her chin.“Didn’t you eat? Hit harder…”
Olivia grabbed Rita’s face, slapping her four times. As she was about to hit her a fifth time, Julian grabbed her wrist. “Enough!”
“Enough? She seduced you, broke up our marriage, and tried to harm me, and you feel sorry for her? Oh, right, we can’t just hit her. You should kneel and let me hit you too.”
“Are you crazy?”
“You won’t kneel? Then let her suffer alone.” Olivia smiled at the swollen–faced Rita.“Any objections?”
Rita shook her head, kneeling to take Olivia’s other hand.“Hit me. It’s not Julian Gege’s fault; I’ll take the blame.”
Olivia patted her head.“Excellent.” The next second, she pulled Rita’s head down and slapped her again. Rita fainted, bleeding from the corner of her mouth.
“Tangtang!” Julian scooped up Rita.“To the hospital!”
He looked back at Olivia, still alone in her wheelchair.“But my wi…” He didn’t finish his sentence before the car door slammed shut.
The onlookers began to look at Olivia with sympathy.
Olivia watched the car drive away, a subtle smile playing on her lips.
Gary pulled over, seeing Rita’s erratic behavior; something felt wrong.
In the back seat, Evan looked at Olivia, understanding the true meaning of that Moments post.“Sir, we should help Ms. Frost.”
