Riley leaned on her chair, exhausted. The confrontation with Ethan and Chase had been draining. She’d anticipated much of it, but still, she felt hurt.

She met the old enemy, but the system was still silent. It was likely gone. Riley sighed, putting the USB drive in a drawer.

Riley nodded, smiling.“Yes.”
Evelyn chuckled.“Want a drink after work?”
