Mark’s widened in shock. Riley seemed different from before. His surprise was fleeting; he quickly became expressionless.
He nodded.“Whatever. I’ve got Chloe.”
Riley nodded and left. Looking at her back, Mark subconsciously stepped forward, and then stopped.
On the road, the system said with surprise, “Host, you were Riley felt relieved after breaking up with Mark.
“Really? Does that make my final mission a third complete?”

chuckled.“Yes, I’ve updated the progress bar.”

She’d moved out and cut ties with Mark. Next she just had to deal with Chase and the school stuff.
She pondered, “Should I stay in a hotel tonight?”

Riley was amazed.
The apartment was cozy and fully furnished.
The system said gently, “Host, make yourself at home.”
Riley unpacked and went to bed.
The next day, she arrived at school early. She knew she could go to Harvard if she completed the final mission, but she didn’t want to slack off.

This made Riley’s heart ache. She left the office first. Outside the office, Chase warned her, “Riley, you
better
not screw
this up.
Riley quickened her pace. Ignoring Chase had become second nature. But a hand stopped her. Chase pulled her against the wall, his hands on either side of her head. His breath was close.
Riley’s face flushed with anger. She retorted, “Mind your own business. The spot is mine; no one can take it.”
She struggled, but it was useless. Her red face and watery eyes made Chase feel better. He hated it when she ignored him.
He took off her glasses, asking,“Are you sure?”
Riley was stunned. Before she could respond, Chloe appeared.
“Chase! What are you doing?!”
