A small laugh left my lips as I cuddled her in my arms. It felt good to be this close to my baby. Her milky scent felt calming as seconds passed.
My gaze flicked to Haelor who was watching our interaction carefully. I decided to deliberate on it for a while before a sigh left my lips.
“You can stay for however long you want to, Harler,”
His smile grew at my words. I placed a couple of kisses on Emma’s cheeks before letting her run back to Haelor.
He hugged her back again before she suggested that they play with her toys. He gladly let her lead the way, not without sending me one last glance
I took that as my chance and immediately went to find my computer. It took a bit of digging through my belongings but I finally found what I’d been looking for.
