I jumped around the room same more before collapsing on to the bed. Sume seconds later, I could feel my vision blurring back to normal and my limbs becoming more upright.
A small hum left my lips as I wiggled my fingers, Lucian and Noah were still down stairs. I’d have t

1 quickly got dressed before making my way downstairs. Just as I set eyes on Quentin, something small bunged into my arms
“Emma,” I laughed. “You have to stop throwing yourself into me like that. What if you got hurt?”
She huffed. “I can’t get hurt, mommy. Uncle Haelor would protect me.”
That was when I noticed Haelor seated at the far end of the room. My heart beat sped up when he sent me a small wink. Since when did Haelor become the suave type? Quentin simply stared back, almost like he had noticed the whole thing that played out.
“Thea.”
Askhan stepped into the room, an unreadable expression on his face. I didn’t bother holding back my surprise, adjusting Emma on my hip before making my way to him.
“What are you doing here? I asked,
He seemed to have noticed the confusion on my face. “You got injured trying to protect me. It’s my duty to be here, Thea. I want to take care of you. Let me take care of you.”

I sent them a scathing look before turning back to Askhan who had been curiously watching me.
“Why were you just staring at them?” He asked, glancing at my brothers.
“Nothing.” I changed the subject. “I’m hungry.”
“I think food should be ready now.” Lucian got up from his seat and began making his way towards the dining room.
The remaining people followed as well. By the time everyone got seated. I realized we would all be having dinner together.
Quentin, Askhan and Haelor had taken their seats as well, the three of them watching me curiously. The whole room became lively as a line of maids trouped in, each of them holding a tray of different assorted meals.
1 felt myself already salivating at the roasted turkey placed in the middle of the room. Olavir had a small smile on his face as he grabbed a plate.
The murmurs and small talk already started. It wasn’t hard to imagine how noisy it would get with my five brothers and the three Alphas being here. Eight different handsome men, and I was the only woman at the table.
The maids of the family kept trooping into the room, frequently bringing one dish or the other. It got to a point where I started to fill a hit irritated by all the unnecessary movements.

“We’re good now. You can all head back to your duties.” I said to the maids in a firm tone
They bowed their heads before filtering out of the dining room. I should have known that was the least problem I’d face.

Dinner ended much quicker than I’d anticipated but I wasn’t complaining. I pushed my dish aside and began heading back to my cottage.
As soon as I got up, the three Alphas did the same, all of them about to follow me. I turned to my brothers, silently begging them to help me out of this situation
Emma leaned closer to my ear. “Are all three Alphas going to be my stepfather?”
My eyes widened just as my cheeks warmed. “Quiet!”
