Chapter 32
Hedy stared straight at me, a slow fire burning in her eyes. She wasn’t going to back down
so easily.
Her silence was enough of an answer. It was all true. She’d done this to me. And these ment
were enough proof.
I stared at the woman in front of me for what felt like eternity. I couldn’t believe it. All this time, I’d been trying so hard. I did the best I could. I put in all the effort. I really did try my
best. I put in a lot of effort too.
Ever since I married Magnus, I’d tried so hard to fit in. I’d done all I could and did my best. to fulfill my duties as the Luna at all. I provided Magnus’s loved ones all with endless wealth, luxury.. So where did I go wrong?
“Have you always hated me this much? Even after everything I’ve done for the pack?” My
voice cracked as I tried to hold back my tears.
“Everything?” Hedy cackled. “You did absolutely nothing for Steele Pack. How could my wonderful son look at a woman like you who only knows how to spend money? I can’t believe my son decided to get mated to someone like you.”
I’d always known she didn’t like me but this, this was nothing short of hatred. I stepped back a little and bumped into Olavir’s broad chest. He had a look of worry on his face as he stared at me.
He turned to look at Hedy and a look of anger came over his face. He was livid at the fact
that Hedy had come in here and tried to wreak havoc and commotion.
“I want her thrown out of this building.” He ordered.
“Yes sir.” Blair nodded his head and turned to Hedy.
He grabbed her roughly and began dragging her away from the room. She tried to fight out of his grip but she was no match for Blair’s strength.
“You useless, pathetic mutt. It wasn’t just me.”

“What?” I found myself unable to look away from her.
“You think Magnus loves you?” She let out a mocking laugh. “We’ve been designing everything from the beginning! Magnus was in on it.”
Although I had deduced before that Magnus had approached me with an ulterior motive, and that he had planned a lot of things; I was still saddened by the fact that Magnus’s mother had now said it all to me in person.
“He knew all that was happening too. He was in on it.” She laughed.
I was a little worried that Emma had heard all this and hurriedly closed the door to the
hospital room behind me, but it was too late. Emma stood pathetically in the doorway holding her tail.
Blair was able to drag her away before she said anything else. But the damage had already
been done. I hurriedly hugged Emma and whispered reassurances.
“Thea.” Olavir called out my name.
“Don’t worry about these things, okay? Your job now is to rest and let your injured body.
recover.”
Emma whispered to me, “Mom, I’m a brave werewolf, don’t worry about me.”
“There you go.” The doctor threw away the syringe. He turned to me, a small smile on his
face.
“Thank you, doctor.” I tried to smile.
I was done with the second dosage of the moon potion. It was working wonders on my body and I felt like I was back to normal.
Just as the doctor left, the door swung open with a lot of force. I felt my breath hitch in my
throat.
Ch
Magnus walked
up to me, his face contorted in anger.
“I knew you were noble Princess, but I never expected this from you.” His eyes were
bloodshot as he glared at me. There was nothing but hate in his eyes.
“What?” I was full of doubts.
Originally, I was planning to go looking for him, but I didn’t expect him to take the initiative.
to come looking for me? Just who gave him the confidence.
