This was laughable at best. I resisted the urge to snort. After so many years, these two men were still yet to find their mates.

Quentin had said those words to me with a seriousness that had left me surprised. And judging by the look that had been in his eyes, he had meant every single word of it. I turned my gaze to Hart who was still laughing.
Hart wasn’t done yet, still trying to reel his laughter back under control. When his gaze would land on Quentin, he’d end up bursting into laughter again.
“Get it out of your system.” Quentin said with a bored expression on his face.
Hart let out another laugh before wiping a stray tear off the corner of his eyes. He patted Quentin on the back affectionately. ignoring the scathing look on the billionaire’s face.
Hart moved to the table and picked up his computer. He took a seat at the conference table and connected it to the network cable of Quentin’s conference room.
He tapped against his keyboard furiously for a couple of seconds before finally leaning back into his seat.
“So when are you going to start?” Quentin broke the silence.
“Im done already.” Hart answered confidently. “In about five minutes, you’ll get every single information you want on Ghost Pack. From the identity of their Alpha to every single member of that damn pack.”
My heart hammered in my chest as the thought of my pack members being exposed hit my head. My gaze flicked to the door just in time to see Jane standing there.
It looked like she had been about to enter the room before she stopped Hart’s words. There was a barely concealed look of panic in her eyes as she watched me.
“What’s going on, boss?” she asked through the mind link.
“Stay calm,” I replied through the mind link. “We’ll find some way
way out of this.”

As Alpha of the pack, I’d been blessed by Lain with the ability to communicate with members of my own pack. And since Jane and I were in the same park, it made it even easier. We could communicate with each other easily.
Using the mind link, I relayest everything that happened to her, including how Hart had set in a break in sequence that would completely override our mainframe in a matter of minutes and release all the classified information on all the members of our pack.
