Thinking, Stella walked out of the office with her phone in hand.
She dialed Nathaniel’s number, hearing the ringtone echo behind her. She immediately turned around, only to find Nathaniel standing behind her, seemingly out of nowhere.

An hour later, her phone vibrated. A strange number was calling her, she thought it was a client so she answered.
“Hello.”
“Stella, it’s Jack. Why do you still have me on your blacklist? Are you still angry with me?”
It was Jack, who she hadn’t heard from in several days, who was calling her.
