“Stella, I’m sorry. Can you give me another chance?”
“Jack, your mother ran to my company to argue with me. There’s no way I can reconcile with you. And what I told you and your mother is true, I’m married.” Stella emphasized helplessly once again.
“It’s okay. You’ll divorce him soon. I won’t blame you,” Jack said righteously.
Stella was rendered speechless, so infuriated by his words that she didn’t know what to say.
She took a deep breath, calming her emotions.
“Jack, I won’t divorce, nor will I reconcile with you. Please, you and your mother should stop bothering me.”
Stella impatiently pushed Jack away as she prepared to get in the car.
Who knew that Jack would suddenly hold her tightly from behind, pleading with her passionately.
“Stella, I was wrong! I’m sorry! Don’t leave! I beg you!”
Jack’s earnest acting moved even the taxi driver.

The driver looked at the two of them and advised, “Miss, your boyfriend is begging you like this, you should forgive him. A man willing to beg a woman shows that he truly loves her.”

“What does it have to do with you?” Stella said, unable to bear it any longer.
The driver seemed to think Stella was too heartless in her words, and simply drove away.
Watching the departing taxi, Stella struggled forcefully in anger. But the strength disparity between a woman and a man was too great, she couldn’t break free from Jack’s grip even with all her might.
“Let me go!”
“No! Stella, I truly love you! If you don’t agree to marry me, I will hold you in my arms all night on this street.”
“You’re crazy!”
“I would go mad without you,” Jack declared loudly.
His words drew sidelong smiles from those around him, and some even showed expressions of envy towards Stella.
Stella finally calmed down. The more she resisted, the more enthusiastic Jack became in his act. Unknowingly, the passersby actually helped him.
She let go of her struggling hand, seemingly compliant as he

“Stella, would you like to chat with me?”
“Um. You let go of me first.” Stella said calmly.
“Okay.”
Jack also felt the relaxation in Stella’s body, and with a smile, he knew this move would make Stella compromise.
With so many bystanders watching, Stella couldn’t possibly reject him.
