At that moment, a figure surpassed Stella. He braced the railing with one hand, flipped over it as light as the wind, and directly – kicked the man to the ground. His movements were so fast that she didn’t even have time to react.
It wasn’t until she ran up, panting, that she realized the person moving so agilely was the seemingly composed Nathaniel.
She lowered her gaze to his legs, the strong muscles captivating her attention.
The man on the ground coughed violently, realizing he couldn’t escape, he quickly begged for mercy.
“I was wrong. It was my first time doing this. I dare not do it again. Please let me go!”
“I’ll give you money! Any amount you want! Just let me go.”
Saying so, the man directly took out his wallet and phone.
Stella thought for a moment, then she reached out and took his wallet and phone.

Stella unlocked his phone, then held it high towards the distance.

the man.
The man cursed loudly, “How could you deceive people!”
Stella handed the man’s phone to the auxiliary police, her voice cold as she said, “Taking unauthorized photos is illegal, of course I’m going to call the police!”
The man couldn’t argue back.
Stella once again handed the man’s wallet to the auxiliary police. “His ID is in here.”

Stella was somewhat hesitant about whether or not to say they were husband and wife. Just as she was about to ask Nathaniel, a clear and cold voice sounded from her side.
“We are husband and wife,” Nathaniel said.
The auxiliary police officer looked up at Stella and Nathaniel, smiling, “No wonder you were so anxious just now, even jumping over our two roadblocks.”
Nathaniel didn’t admit it, but he didn’t deny it either.

Before she could figure it out, the auxiliary police began to ask questions. Stella carefully repeated everything, and after signing, she watched as the auxiliary police took the man away..
“Mr. Beaumont, thank you for your help just now. You…” Stella turned around and found Nathaniel looking at her strangely. “What’s wrong with you?”
“Did you trick him into taking out his phone and wallet?” Nathaniel asked.

As she stepped onto the escalator, Stella was jostled by someone. She put pressure on her foot, and the pain from her wound felt as if it was being forcefully torn open, causing her to shudder.
She finally steadied herself in a bend of an arm.
“Come a little closer,” Nathaniel said, wrapping his arms around her impatiently.
“Okay, thank you.”
Stella took a small step, but the distance between them did not
