The next scene belonged to Willow, so Olivia went to change her look.
The moment Olivia stepped into the makeup room, Daniel barged in, ready to confront her. “Olivia, what’s going on? Why did you go on set without makeup? Do you even care about doing this job properly?”
At that moment, Eve returned to grab something, and Daniel immediately redirected his anger toward her. “And you! Why didn’t you do her makeup?”
Eve glanced at Olivia with disdain, her tone sharp and rritated. “Daniel, I don’t have the patience to deal with her. I was going to do her makeup, but she refused and told me I wouldn’t be needed anymore.”
Daniel’s expression darkened. “Olivia, what are you trying to say? Are you firing Eve?”
Without sparing Daniel’s anger a glance, Olivia sat down calmly. “Yes, I’m firing her.”
Daniel’s face grew even darker. Eve had been recommended by Amelia, and all of Olivia’s previous unflattering looks were her doing. Olivia had always been compliant before, what was going on with her today?
‘Olivia, you’re just a rookie. Your previous projects haven’t been successful, and the company isn’t going to assign you another makeup artist. If you fire her, you’ll be left without one,” Daniel threatened.
Olivia raised her eyebrow slightly. “That’s fine. I don’t need one.”
Daniel was stunned by her firm reply. His intention had been to intimidate Olivia into submission, but unexpectedly, she was showing some backbone. Amelia had specifically instructed him to sabotage Olivia. Given his small agency’s reliance on Amelia’s influence he had no choice but to comply. After all, it was Amelia’s network that secured Willow’s role as the second lead. Now, Olivia’s sudden defiance was throwing a wrench into his plans.
Eve, standing nearby, snorted. “Daniel, you heard her! She doesn’t want me. If it weren’t for Ms. Amelia asking me to help, I wouldn’t waste my time on someone at her level.”
Daniel felt a splitting headache coming on.
Elsewhere, in a luxurious van, Amelia was reviewing the script for A Little Spark of Joy.

“Amelia, why did you go out of your way to recommend Olivia for Mr. Jos’s production? Her acting is terrible, and her looks are no better. Was it really worth all the hassle?” Daisy, Amelia’s agent, asked as she was puzzled.
Amelia’s perfect complexion remained serene, her large eyes shimmering with a natural allure. Every time Daisy looked at her, she was struck by her beauty. Even in an industry overflowing with attractive people, Amelia’s appearance was a cut above. No wonder the company had invested heavily in her.
“I heard Olivia’s first scene has already been filmed,” Daisy continued. “Rumor has it Mr. Jos got angry. With Olivia’s lack of skill, she’s only making things worse. I’m only worried she’ll end up dragging you down.”
Amelia lifted her gaze, her white outfit accentuating her soft and delicate aura. “Daisy, no matter what, Olivia is still my sister, I just wanted to help her.”
