The bet between Emma and Olivia was sealed right in front of all the students in the performing arts department. A few curious observers wasted no time posting about this seemingly lopsided gamble on the academy’s Twitter.
“Shocking! Just Before the Performance Festival, She Boldly Claims She’ll Take First Place!”
The sensational headline quickly caught the attention of many students.
They clicked on the post, expecting to see one of the academy’s well–known stars making a bold move, only to find out it was about a completely unknown student.
The post described the bet between Olivia and Emma in great detail, exaggerating Olivia’s words and even including a candid shot of Olivia.
In the photo, the girl, dressed in shabby clothes, wore oversized black–framed glasses. Her long, messy hair cast shadows over her face, giving her a gloomy and impoverished appearance.
The post quickly went viral, sparking an explosion of comments.
“How many medications did she take? She looks like a mess! First place? She said that out loud.”
“Come on, perhaps she could succeed… perhaps she should modify one word, last place!”
“Olivia? Never heard of her. Does she think she’s going to pull off an Amelia–style miracle?”
“Don’t drag my goddess Amelia into this! It is offensive to even bring them up together.”
“Could someone please provide a mirror to Olivia? I’ll cover it! She needs to examine herself closely.”
“Wow… since when did our school get someone this delusional?”
“Delusional.”
“I cannot express myself.”
In just half a day, the post had over a hundred replies.
As soon as school ended, Isabella rushed to Olivia’s side, showing her the campus Twitter post. The post only mentioned Olivia and didn’t drag Isabella into it, but seeing her friend being insulted like this made Isabella furious.
Olivia glanced at the post, showing no reaction.
“Livi, what are we going to do? What are we going to perform? What do you need me to do? I’m not prepared at all.” Isabella asked, clearly distressed by Olivia’s calm demeanor.
Olivia replied, “I’ve already thought of the program. You just need to play the piano.”
Isabella was taken aback. “Livi, how did you know… I can play the piano?”
She didn’t remember ever telling Olivia about it.

Isabella scratched her head, trying to recall but coming up blank.
“I’ll bring you the sheet music tomorrow. Start practicing,” Olivia instructed.
“But Livi… I… I don’t have a piano…” Isabella’s voice trailed off, growing quieter with each word.
Olivia was momentarily speechless.
She didn’t have a piano?

Isabella bit her lip. “I used to have one, but I had to sell it to pay for expenses when I got into St. Rona Academy.”
While the tuition for scholarship students was covered many miscellaneous fees were not.
“No problem. You can practice at school,” Olivia suggested.
St. Rona Academy was well–equipped, with a full range of instruments for students. However, Isabella’s face didn’t show any relief.
“I’ve tried, but they won’t let me use the school’s pianos… They’re afraid I’ll break them… and I can’t afford to pay for damages.” Isabella’s voice wavered, and it looked like she was about to cry.
Hearing this, Olivia’s heart sank. She could only imagine the harsh words Isabella must have faced.
But then, an idea struck Olivia. She patted Isabella’s head reassuringly and said, “Leave the piano to me. Meet me at Starlight Mall at 8 AM tomorrow.”
She might be broke, but she was still Alexander’s wife!
