The task of adding more scenes for Olivia was handled by Hannah and the screenwriters. After Jos finalized the general direction, he returned to the set to resume filming the scenes between Olivia and Amelia.
Jared trailed behind Olivia like a small, eager shadow, dutching a script tightly in his hands.
It was his first time observing a live shoot, and he couldn’t help feeling nervous.
“Olivia, don’t stress out! It’s okay if you make mistakes! You’re the best!” Jared said earnestly, attempting to encourage her.
Though new to the industry, Jared had heard of Amelia’s reputation, professional and immensely skilled. Acting opposite someone like her must be a lot of pressure for Olivia!
Olivia remained silent.
She couldn’t shake the feeling that she was being coddled like a grade schooler.
Perhaps the meeting with Hannah had gone smoothly because Jos appeared to be in a particularly good mood.
Amelia, too, had composed herself, and filming began promptly.
Jared stood to the side, nervously watching the shoot.
But soon, he noticed something.
Amelia’s beauty and her refined, classical demeanor had quickly won her fame. Her looks were a point of pride for her fans.
Yet Jared thought that Amelia wasn’t nearly as beautiful as Olivia. Not even close.
If Olivia worked hard to improve her acting, she could undoubtedly become a future superstar!
Just as Jared was silently fretting about Olivia’s acting skills and debating whether to arrange for extra lessons, everything changed before his eyes.
In front of the camera, Olivia’s presence transformed completely.
The moment Olivia began delivering her lines, Jared froze in place.
The scene no longer felt like a performance. It was as if another dimension had opened, and real events were unfolding before him.
This time, Amelia was prepared. As Olivia raised her hand, Amelia fought hard to suppress her instinct to flinch.
She was determined to prove that her acting was leagues beyond Olivia’s!

The crisp sound echoed loudly.

Olivia’s hand landed harshly on Amelia’s delicate face, with such force that it split the corner of her lip!
Even though Amelia had braced herself mentally, she was stunned by the blow.
The slap was even harder than the last one!
Amelia felt her head buzzing, unable to react.
Thankfully, Chris, playing the second male lead, rushed in at this moment. Following the script, he shoved Olivia away.
For once, Chris didn’t drag the scene down. The storyline continued as he and Olivia struggled, and it concluded with Olivia being accidentally pushed down the stairs.
Jos was pleased.
When filming wrapped, half of Amelia’s face was swollen.
Daisy screamed as she whisked Amelia away for emergency ice packs.
Olivia watched as Daisy led Amelia off, then turned to look for her rookie agent.
She turned her head only to find Jared squatting in a corner, his eyes red and watery.
“Who bullied you?” Olivia asked, blinking in surprise.
Jared looked at her, teary–eyed. “Penelope is so pitiful.
Olivia was speechless. What on earth?
Jared continued, “The second male lead is awful! How could he fall for someone else? Penelope always saw him as her last hope, yet he abandoned her without hesitation… She just wanted to survive. What did she do wrong?”
The more Jared spoke, the sadder he became. He’d read the script before and hadn’t thought much of Penelope’s character.
But after seeing Olivia bring Penelope to life, hearing her deliver those heart–wrenching lines, Jared finally realized that Penelope was the most tragic figure in the entire story.
The corner of Olivia’s mouth twitched slightly.
Well, this is the first time I’ve seen an agent cry while watching their artist perform.
