Chapter 169 No Need to Replace Her
Finished
Daisy tugged at the corner of her mouth, her eyes fixed on the comments online. “Now that the trailer’s out, the original fans are already warming up to Olivia. If the investors see this, they might not replace her after all.”
Daisy genuinely disliked Olivia, viewing her as an ungrateful traitor.
But she also understood that removing Olivia could provoke backlash from the fans.
Now, however, aside from some of Amelia and Chris‘ fans still attacking Olivia, most of the original fans and casual viewers were blown away by her performance and looks.
If the investors noticed the shift in public opinion, they’d likely change their minds.
Listening to Daisy’s words, Amelia clenched her teeth so hard it seemed like she might break them.
They’d been so close to crushing Olivia completely!
Suddenly, the door to the dressing room was knocked on, and Jos‘ assistant stepped inside.
“Amelia, Mr. Jos wants to know if you’re available to post a tweet clarifying to the fans that Olivia only accidentally caused your lip injury during filming.”
Daisy frowned, clearly annoyed. “Why should Amelia be the one to do that? She’s the victim here. Besides, weren’t they planning to replace Olivia? What’s the point?”
The assistant replied, “The investors just called to say there’s no need to replace her anymore.”
Daisy froze for a moment, clearly stunned.
On the other hand, Amelia went completely rigid.
Her worst fear had come true!
Before Daisy could respond, Amelia suddenly lifted her head, a sweet smile gracing her face.
“That’s great news! I thought Olivia’s performance was excellent. She shouldn’t be replaced. I’ll post the tweet right away to clear things up for the fans.”
Relieved by Amelia’s agreement, the assistant left.
However, Daisy looked disapproving. “Amelia, you really don’t have to do this.”
Amelia smiled warmly. “Daisy, Olivia is my sister. I’ve been wanting to post this for a while now. I hate seeing her hurt by my fans.”
Daisy sighed, giving in.
Amelia opened Twitter with a serene expression, but no one noticed the flash of hatred in her eyes.
Only she knew how much she didn’t want to post
this.
But with Olivia staying in the cast and Jos and Hannah backing her, Amelia had no choice.

Chapter 169 No Need to Replace Her
For the sake of her kindhearted persona, she had to post it.
Finished
Clenching her teeth, Amelia composed a clarification tweet. However, before hitting send, she made a few edits.
Finally, she posted, “I’m fine, everything is okay. What happened was just a misunderstanding due to filming requirements, so don’t worry about me. Olivia may be new to the field, but she’s very talented. Both Mr. Jos and Ms. Hannah likes her a lot, so my dear there’s no need to trouble her anymore.”
Though it read like a clarification, something about the tone seemed a bit off.
Amelia’s fans didn’t care how well Olivia acted or how beautiful she was; all they knew was that Olivia had hurt their idol.
“Poor Amelia, being bullied and still having to clear things up.‘”
“Amelia is just too kind–hearted!”
“Something smells fishy. Both the official account and Ms. Hannah are defending Olivia now. Didn’t someone say she rewrote the script to add more scenes for herself? I strongly suspect someone is abusing their power.”
As Amelia read through the comments, a faint smile crossed her lips.
She had already clarified things.
Whatever the fans chose to believe was entirely out of her control.
