The assistant, who was prepared to discuss the matter with Olivia, was stunned once more.

Olivia looked at the remuneration clause of the contract once more, then said, “Don’t worry, I’m tough as nails.”

At that moment, Alexander’s face was cold as ice. Every tick from the clock in the room sounded as if it was challenging his patience.
On his phone, were line after line of messages, serving as reminders to him from a certain somebody.
However, who would expect that the very woman who had reminded him daily about that very day, would end up being the one to not show up?
Alexander waited in silence, but Henry could clearly sense the gradual decline of the atmosphere within the room.
A suffocating tension weighed down on the room, Henry found it somewhat difficult to breathe.
He could not believe that Olivia actually had the nerve to ghost Alexander, when she was the one who had insisted on it!

Henry’s heart trembled as he observed Alexander’s face darken with every passing minute.
“Mr. Wilson, shall I go and search for Ms. Carter?” Henry offered, his tone cautious.
Alexander’s dark gaze fell on Henry’s face for a moment.
Henry immediately stepped back, instantly understanding what Alexander had in mind, then hurriedly set out to find Olivia. He searched for the location of Olivia’s car and quickly made his way to where she was.
He soon found Olivia at a hotdog stall by the street, and sitting opposite her was a youthful–looking young
man.
The young man was seen occasionally stealing glances at Olivia, his cheeks seemed somewhat rosy, as if a little shy.
All it took was one look to blow Henry’s mind.
Holy shit!
This woman ghosted Mr. Wilson, to sit by the street and share a meal of hotdogs with this pretty boy?
Henry immediately pulled out his phone and snapped a photo of the scene, then sent it to Alexander.
Back at the private room, Alexander’s eyes narrowed as he stared at the photo of Olivia with the pretty boy.
