Paul’s lips twitched awkwardly. “That’s not what I meant. I’m saying… what if there’s someone who looks a lot like our grandma?”
Brody immediately raised a hand to cut him off.
“Stop right there! Every time Grandpa scolds us, isn’t his favorite complaint that none of us inherited Grandma’s looks? Don’t tell me you’ve caught whatever obsession he has with this.”

Sadly, she had passed away early, and their grandfather’s favorite pastime was sitting in his rocking chair, flipping through her old photos.
He often lamented that none of his sons inherited his wife’s beauty, nor did any of the grandchildren.
“When Liliana was born, Grandpa had high hopes. The only girl in three generations–he thought for sure she’d finally carry on Grandma’s looks. But…” Brody sighed.

“What are you even saying? nean, I met a girl today who looks exactly like Grandma!” Paul exclaimed.
Brody paused, stunned.
“Seriously? You’re not joking, are you?”
Paul rolled his eyes.
“Would I joke about something like this? I found it strange, so I came back to check Grandma’s photos just
to confirm.”
Brody’s expression grew serious. Though their grandmother had passed many years ago, her place in the Kenneth family was sacred.
Even their father and relatives, who occasionally dared to argue with their grandfather, wouldn’t dare utter a single word of disrespect about her.
No matter how bold Paul was, he wouldn’t joke about something this sensitive.
“Where did you meet her? Who is she?” Brody asked cautiously.
“At Borealia Military Academy. She’s one of the instructors there,” Paul replied.
Brody went quiet.
Paul added quickly, “Don’t look at me like that! I know dad forbade me from joining the military, but I just went with Marshall to stretch my legs!”
Brody rubbed his chin thoughtfully. After grandmother’s passing, some shameless people had gone so far as to surgically alter their appearance to resemble her, hoping to marry into the Kenneth family using her face.

Initially, Brody wondered if the person Paul had met might have been planted by a rival family for similar purposes. But when Paul mentioned she was a combat instructor at Borealia Military Academy, Brody dismissed the thought.
After all, the academy was under the jurisdiction of the Fulton family, who would never allow someone with a suspicious identity to hold such a position.
“Let’s go!” Brody said decisively.
Paul blinked to surprise.
“Go where?”
“Borcalia Military Academy! You said you saw her there, right? I don’t trust your judgment. Take me to meet her.” Brody demanded.
Paul hesitated for a moment before nodding.
“Alright!”
They set off immediately.
On the way, Brody grilled Paul for more details about Olivia.
All Paul knew was her name and that she had recently been hired as a combat instructor at the academy. Beyond that, he was clueless.”
“How old is she?” Brody asked.
Paul shrugged. “No idea. How am I supposed to guess a woman’s age? But she’s young–maybe eighteen or nineteen? Twenty at most.”
Brody frowned slightly. Her age… doesn’t add up.
Before long, the two arrived at Borealia Military Academy.
