Rebirth of a Flopped Actress: Career First, Love Seco
Chapter 307 Crushing Her
At Starlit Entertainment, Liliana listened as her secretary reported the latest update,
“Olivia purchased the full rights to several novels?”
The secretary nodded.
“She bought the rights from a small website featuring obscure works.
Liliana frowned slightly. “How popular are these novels”

“They’re virtually unknown. I checked the stats, none have reached ten thousand views. Aside from that site, there’s no trace of them online,” the secretary explained.
Hearing this, Liliana leaned back in her chair. Her intent to blacklist Olivia was aimed at keeping her far from the Kenneth family’s attention.
“It looks like she’s planning to produce her own movie, the secretary speculated.
“Contact the authors and offer to buy back the rights at a higher price,” Liliana commanded, unwilling to give Olivia any advantage.
“There’s really no need for that, Ms. Liliana,” the secretary replied. “Most current shows are romance- driven, while the novels she fought have minimal romantic elements and focus heavily on battle scenes. To produce something effective, a huge budget would be required.”
The secretary handed over a detailed report as she stated, “Attempts to adapt these works in the past failed due to lack of investment, resulting in low–quality productions. They were so poorly made that no networks wanted to purchase the broadcast rights.”
“To get proper results from those novels, she would need at least hundreds of millions in investment,” the secretary continued. “Based on my financial investigation, Olivia only has around fifty million at most. Even if she spent every cent, it would be hard to produce anything worth watching.”
The secretary noted, “Plus, the contracts she signed for full rights are ironclad. There’s no feasible way to buy them back.”
Liliana’s eyes narrowed.
“Keep a close watch on Olivia’s activities. Report any updates immediately. Inform our partner agencies that their artists are forbidden from collaborating with her. Violate that, and they’ll be blacklisted.”
As Starlit Entertainment’s chairwoman, Liliana held a significant sway over the industry.
With limited funds and no actors, Liliana doubted Olivia’s ability to produce a competitive show.
“Don’t worry, Ms. Liliana,” the secretary assured. “Olivia lacks both money and connections. She can’t match our company’s resources. With the fight–heavy novels she holds, she’d need skilled extras trained in martial arts. Without them, it’ll be a disaster.”
Liliana nodded slightly.
“Notify all martial arts schools. Working with Olivia will cut off all future collaboration with Starlit
