Seeing that almost everyone had left, only Alexander continued to gaze at Olivia, Georgina’s eyes narrowed slightly.
People named Olivia really seemed to rub her the wrong way.
Both Olivias were incredibly irritating to her.
“Mr. Carter, may I ask where you work?” Georgina tentatively inquired about Olivia’s identity.
Olivia replied, “Nowhere special, I’m just an actress.”
Georgina was momentarily taken aback.
“Mr. Carter is an artist? You must be joking, right? The Moore family’s birthday banquet didn’t invite any entertainers.”
Olivia shrugged.

Olivia completely ignored Georgina’s teeth–gritting reaction, her hand on Alexander’s shoulder giving a light squeeze.
Turning to Alexander, she silently mouthed,
“Play along.”
Alexander raised his eyebrows slightly.
