“On the way?” Liam raised an eyebrow, picking up the cane beside him.

Vance quietly exhaled in relief.
“Yes, yes, Grandpa. Big Brother doesn’t cherish her, but it’s okay–we can help!”
Vance didn’t believe Olivia had genuinely lost interest in Alexander. She probably just didn’t trust herself to win him over.
So, Vance decided to prove his abilities through action!
Liam nodded in agreement. “What’s your plan?”
Vance leaned in, whispering conspiratorially into Liam’s ear.
Meanwhile, Olivia arrived at the bedroom. Seeing the plush bed, she flopped onto it without hesitation.
“Ah, perfect!” she sighed.

Fresh from the shower, Alexander wore nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. Droplets of water gleamed on his damp hair, rolling down to his prominent collarbone, then trailing along his firm chest and sculpted abs before disappearing beneath the towel.
For a moment, Olivia was stunned.
What is going on?
Why is Alexander here?

Alexander froze briefly upon seeing Olivia. Without a word, he toweled his hair dry and took a seat on a nearby chair.
Not long ago, this woman had drugged him. Since then, she’d been distant, almost indifferent, as if she’d had a change of heart.
Now, Olivia was sprawled on the bed, stretching her body, facing a freshly showered Alexander. The scene was enough to spark anyone’s imagination.
To Alexander, it felt like a deliberate act of seduction.
But Olivia quickly bolted upright.
“Don’t get the wrong idea! I didn’t know you’d be here! I thought you’d be in the study.”
Alexander looked at her impassively. He had intended to head to the study after his shower.

“You use the bathroom first. I’ll leave,” Olivia said hastily, walking to the door. She grabbed the handle, intending to leave and avoid
any misunderstanding.

No matter how she twisted the knob, the locked door wouldn’t budge.
“What’s going on?” she muttered.
“The door won’t open,” Alexander said, approaching her. His tall frame loomed behind her as he reached out to try the handle himself. Despite his strength, the door remained firmly shut.
“It’s locked from the outside,” Alexander noted casually.
Trapped between the door and Alexander, Olivia felt the faint heat radiating from his body, sending her nerves into overdrive.
“I’ll call someone to unlock it,” Alexander said, stepping back.
