Chapter 72 Your Driving Sucks, and Your Brain Doesn’t Work Either?
At the finish line, Lucas and Alice were already standing at the most prominent spot.
When Alice saw Olivia driving her Pink Sugar Rush toward the finish line, her face turned red with excitement.
“Go, Missy! You’re the best!” She shouted.
Lucas, on the other hand, stood there dumbfounded, watching Olivia cross the finish line first without any suspense. It felt like he was dreaming
With a flawless drift, Olivia parked her car smoothly.
The moment she stepped out of the car, Alice ran toward her, bouquet in hand, and threw herself into Olivia’s arms.
“Missy, you’re the champion!”
Olivia smiled and held Alice firmly.
The crowd at the finish line gave Olivia some very complicated looks.
“What just happened? A woman took first place? That’s embarrassing!” a boy muttered under his breath.
Olivia glanced at him, her gaze sharp. She smirked coldly and asked, “Why can’t a woman take first place?”
The boy, clearly annoyed, frowned at her challenge.
“This isn’t a race women should even be participating i
The corner of Olivia’s mouth curled into an icy smile.
“Not for women? How about this–race me. If I don’t lap you, I’ll admit defeat”
The boy’s face turned pale. If he had the skills to back it up, he wouldn’t have stayed off the track in the first place.
With no courage to take her up on the challenge, he slunk back into the crowd..
Hudson and Benjamin soon arrived at the finish line as well. Once again, they had tied, unable to determine a clear winner.
“You’re even better than I thought, Benjamin said, beads of sweat glistening on his handsome face, giving his already bold aura a rugged, wild edge. His eyes sparkled with excitement as he looked at Olivia. “Next time, let’s race for real.”
Olivia replied, “If there’s a wager involved, I’m in.”
Benjamin blinked, slightly taken aback.
As the leaders arrived, the rest of the racers began trickling across the finish line.
James was the last to arrive. When he spotted Olivia standing there, his face was full of disbelief.

“What are you doing here? You didn’t join the competition?”

James hadn’t seen Olivia’s car after the start and assumed she chickened out and skipped the race.
Before Olivia could answer, Lucas jumped in.
“Didn’t join? Olivia was the first to cross the finish line.
James’s face froze in shock. “No way!”
Lucas pointed at the livestream screen nearby, which was replaying the moment the top three cars crossed the finish line.
James’s face turned as dark as the bottom of a burnt po
This had to be some kind of joke.
Olivia? That country bumpkin? Racing? No way!
“You’ve got to be kidding me!” James snarled, glaring at Olivia before turning to get in his car to leave.
Before he could escape, Olivia kicked him squarely in the backside, sending him sprawling onto the ground.
“Olivia! Are you trying to get yourself killed?” James shouted, clutching his bruised rear.
Olivia raised an eyebrow casually. “What’s the problem? Your driving sucks, and now your brain isn’t working either? Did you forget the bet you made with me? Trying to run now?”
James froze, the memory of their earlier wager flashing back to him. His expression soured instantly.
He never imagined Olivia would actually win first place
“What bet? Don’t make stuff up. That never happened!
“Oh, so you’re backing out now?” Olivia’s eyebrow arched.
“Backing out of what? I never made any bet with you! Keep it up, and I’ll call the cops!” James threatened.
Olivia’s eyes narrowed. Without another word, she landed a kick squarely on James’s stomach, sending.
to his knees, clutching his gut in pain.
“No need to call the cops,” she said coolly. “They’ll be here soon enough.”
