Chapter 77 Mr Wilson, Two Guys Are After Your Wife
The police immediately arrested James.
“Wait! This is a misunderstanding! It’s all a misunderstanding!” James panicked.
“I didn’t steal the car! She’s my sister! I was just borrowing her car!”
Everyone froze at James‘ claim. Olivia, however, remained calm.

“Officer, do you believe him? If I were his sister, would be dressed like this? Even his shoes cost more than my entire outfit.”
The crowd blinked. She has a point.
“She’s lying! If she didn’t have money, how could she afford such an expensive car?” James argued.
Olivia chuckled. “When did I say this car was mine? It belongs to a friend who lent it to me. Is that so hard to believe?”
She turned to the officers.
“You can check the registration. This car isn’t in my name.”
The officers quickly investigated and confirmed the car wasn’t registered to Olivia.
James was dumbstruck. As the police prepared to haul him into the patrol car, he turned to Olivia, yelling! “Olivia, you win this time! Are you really going to watch me get taken away? If Mom and Dad find out. they’ll skin you alive!”
He knew Olivia cared deeply about their parents‘ opinions. If he got arrested, they’d never forgive her.
But Olivia simply stared coldly at him.
Does he really think I still care about the Wilson family leeches?
Amid James‘ protests, the police shoved him into the car.
“Miss, can you contact the car’s owner? We’ll need him to verify that he willingly lent you the car,” the officer asked responsibly, given the complexity of the situation.
“Sure.” Olivia nodded, stepped aside, and called Alexander.
The call connected surprisingly quickly.
“Hubby?” Olivia said tentatively.
On the other end, Alexander was speechless.
Why does it feel like every time she calls me “Hubby,‘ it’s never for anything good?
“What is it?”
“Your car got stolen.”

Alexander was at a loss for words.
Finished
“But don’t worry, I already handed the thief over to the police and got the car back. Now they just need you to go down to the station to sort things out.”
Alexander was silent for a long time before finally responding.
“Address.”
Olivia gave him the address and hung up.
By then, most people had already left, except for Benjamin, Hudson, and a few others who stayed behind to wait for Olivia.
Lucas glanced at Hudson, who showed no sign of leaving, and muttered irritably, “The event’s over, Hudson. Why are you still hanging around?”
Hudson didn’t seem to register Lucas‘ words at all.
“Ms. Carter helped Alice win first place. It’s only right for me to thank her properly.”
That’s completely unnecessary, Lucas thought.
He leaned closer to Benjamin and whispered, “Mr. Benjamin, that guy’s trying to steal your girl!”
Benjamin frowned. Steal what? But an inexplicable irritation flickered in his chest.
Before long, Henry arrived in Alexander’s car. He presented the necessary documents to the police, confirming the car was indeed loaned to Olivia. Satisfied, the police left.
Henry, however, didn’t look pleased.
“Ms. Carter, Mr. Liam has asked that you return to the estate for a few days. Your belongings have already
been sent over.”
Olivia nodded. Just then, Hudson stepped forward with a smile.
“Ms. Carter, to show my gratitude, may I take you out for dinner tonight?”
Before Olivia could reply, Benjamin walked over and stood between her and Hudson.
“Sorry, but Olivia’s having dinner with me tonight, Benjamin said firmly, reminding Hudson of her earlier promise to Benedict.
Hudson’s eyes flashed subtly.
Henry, who had been standing quietly on the side, couldn’t help noticing the tension between the two handsome young men.
Wait… Are they fighting over Olivia?
Alarm bells went off in Henry’s mind.
