Chapter 5
Alex: “Who knows who you’ve slept with behind my back, pretending to be so pure.
I coldly stared at him. “What did you say?”
He became smug, continuously insulting me with slut–shaming remarks.
“See? I told you so. Always dressing up, but who knows what you’re really up to. How many men have you seen outside? You might’ve already gotten dirty by now.”
“I’m the only one who tolerates you, dressing up every day. Any other man would have stopped putting up with you by now, and yet you come here acting all high and mighty.”
“I’m just playing with one woman, but you, you’re worse. Rich people are always living
chaotic lives, and you act like you’re above it all, accusing me!”
My cousin, full of muscle, stepped forward suddenly, startling him.
Alex looks good on the outside, a pretty boy with delicate skin, but now I saw him for what he truly was–a useless pretty boy, like a useless needle in a haystack.
Cousin: “What are you talking nonsense about? Want to die?”
He pushed Alex, who stumbled back two steps and immediately dropped to the ground,
wailing.
Alex: “Help! I’m being hit! They think they can do whatever they want just because they
have money!”
The noise drew the attention of people upstairs and downstairs, who began pointing and
gossiping.
I swallowed my anger and told him to get up quickly.
Me: “How embarrassing. My little cousin barely pushed you, and you acted like a kid. You’re a grown man, stop pretending to be weak.”

Marrying Without My Eight Year Boyfriend Knowing
Chapter 5
I stretched out my tone: “Oh, could it be that your body’s been drained from
overindulgence?”
I explained cheerfully to the neighbors: “This is
behind my back, and now planning to extort my boyfriend, living off me, cheating
Since I was familiar with the neighbors, they all started criticizing Alex.
One older lady, who was in a similar situation, shared her story. Her husband had cheated,
nd she kicked him out naked, making it the talk of the town. After that, the man disappeared, becoming a funny story.
I couldn’t let these women down.
Me: “Disgusting man, filthy, and now trying to play the victim! You ate off me, drank off me, and now you’re biting back. Truly poisonous!”
The older lady gave Alex a sharp tongue–lashing, and he was so embarrassed that he got up from the ground, unable to say anything.
Before he could even speak, he was being verbally attacked from all sides.
Neighbors: “What kind of person is this? Cheating and still acting righteous?”
“Yeah, this guy is rotten to the core, heart and soul blackened.”
“Unbelievable, how dare he show his face!”
Alex’s face turned red with shame, and he couldn’t take it anymore. He shouted, “What’s it to you? Get lost!”
That was the match that lit the fuse.
Everyone began shouting at Alex, and he couldn’t even lift his head.
Me (thinking): “What an idiot, just like Emily, both are perfect for each other.”
Alex: “I don’t care, Ophelia isn’t any better! She’s just as bad!”
I scoffed, kicked his luggage into the stairwell.
Chapter 5
Me: “Get lost, don’t bring your trash into my home.”
He chased his luggage downstairs, threatening me fiercely in the stairwell: “If you leave me, your reputation won’t be any better!”
I waved my hand dismissively, telling him to leave.
That night, I burned incense to calm myself.
Phe older lady: “Don’t be sad, it’s not worth it for a man.”
She thought I was upset about Alex, so she stayed behind to comfort me.
I furrowed my brows, sadly saying, “He still owes me money!”
He’s sending red envelopes to his mistress, but can’t even pay me back.
Me (thinking): “Alex, you bastard!”
