Anderson Grandma had always liked me.
After she found out that I was with Jorge, she kept wanting to give me the ring that was Meant for the Anderson family’s granddaughter–in–law.

I knew Jorge didn’t want to get married, and the meaning behind that ring was too special for me to accept from anyone else.
But I didn’t expect that when we arrived at Anderson Grandma’s house, it was already packed with people.

Layla had a fiery temper, and she made my mom put the phone on speaker.
She then proceeded to scold everyone in the room except for the three of us.
After she finished, she told me to go home.
“What is this? Colette is the daughter–in–law I’ve chosen. I’m coming to see you now. I’ll take good care of you.”
The phone hung up, and Mr. Anderson and his new wife were left embarrassed.
Liam tightly held my hand and led me out.
