Chapter 15
Chapter 15
The voice was Jorge’s.
I opened the door to see a manager–like person holding a keycard, sweating as he tried to
nlock the door.
A crowd of people had gathered around, curious from the noise.
When the door swung open, the ambiguous sounds of moaning flooded out.
Nina didn’t pay any attention to Jorge and raised her voice:
“I remember this room is Liam’s.”
“Liam, aren’t you supposed to be getting married? Why would you do this to my sister?”
Before I could speak, a warm chest pressed against my back.
“Are you talking about me?”
Nina stared at us in disbelief, and as if she knew what was going on, she rushed straight
into the room.
Liam, still in his bathrobe, grabbed my hand and walked us toward the door.
With a sharp scream, the waiter I had seen earlier ran out of the room.
Behind her, a furious Nina followed.
“Liam, why did you change rooms?”
Her words were so abrupt, and no one there was a fool.
It didn’t take long for everyone to understand what had happened, and the looks they gave her quickly turned to disdain.

No sense of propriety, just reckless and shameless.
Elisa stumbled out of the room, a look of despair on her face:
“Liam, why are you doing this to me?”
Liam stepped back, covering my eyes.
“Miss Elisa, don’t speak nonsense. I’m not the kind of person who messes around. My body and heart belong to Colette. If you cause any misunderstandings, I’ll make sure to stir up trouble at your house.”
The threat was clear.
I helplessly poked at his arm, trying to get him to move his hand.
She’s a woman, so she can see. Why can’t I?
He laughed softly, his voice tender but helpless:
“Because it’s dirty.”
“I don’t want to dirty Colette’s eyes.”
I was about to speak, but Jorge interrupted:
“You really are loyal. A woman who’s been living with another man for so long, and you don’t mind the dirt…”
I stiffened, pushing Liam’s hand away, and looked at the man speaking.
He knew better than anyone what was going on between us.
Yet, he still wanted to drag me into his mess.

All the filters I once had for him disappeared in that moment.
Liam gently ruffled my hair:
