Wendell wrapped his arms around me from behind, resting his head on my shoulder. The warmth from him was comforting.
With just a few clicks, I deleted the anonymous text and turned off my phone, leaning back into my husband’s embrace.
“Oh, nothing much. Just feeling like I love you even more today.”
