Celia covered her mouth in a seeming surprise. “Are you saying that it might be stolen by someone?”

Celia used a lame move, but it worked.
“Celia said that she’d let it go as long as you give back the bracelet,” the prop woman continued.
“Thank her for being so generous.
Damn it! How can I give it back to her? I’ve never seen it,” Elizabeth thought.
“I don’t understand what you are talking about!” Elizabeth’s ugly face was gloomy. “Get out of the way. I’m going to the toilet.”
