Chapter 9
Nearby hospitals were overcrowded.
It was a critical traffic accident. The car that was going in vehicles. It was said that the brakes didn’t act
the opposite direction ran rampant and collided with scores of Elizabeth and Celia were carried to the hospital on stretchers respectively. They were primarily identified that Celia had a neck injury while Elizabeth had fallen into a coma. The specific situation would only be determined after further inspection.
Samuel didn’t know where he was injured in that he felt no pain but was worried.
He was in agonies of remorse when seeing Celia lying miserable on the snow white hospital bed.
The moment the car crashed into a guardrail, Celia reacted quickly and protected him right away, or he wouldn’t be safe and sound and stand here.
Stout as he was. Samuel blamed himself deeply for not protecting his woman and even making her hurt.
As usual, Celia always did her best to protect him immediately when endangered.
“Oh, it hurts so much. My leg… It seems that I can’t move,” Celia moaned in pain. Lying on the hospital bed and being on a drip, she wanted to get up, but the doctor held her down. “Miss Dodson, don’t move around, please. We’ll take care of you in the emergency room.”
Samuel stood around Celia, holding her restless little hand tightly with his big hand. He managed to comfort her patiently, “Celia, no worries. You’re fine. You will be fine.”
“Sam, I’m so scared. Save me, Sam…” Celia’s beautiful eyes brimmed with tears. Though her delicate makeup was messed up by this accident, she made Samuel even feel more sorry for her.
“Hang loose. Just bear with it. The first aid treatment will be given to you right away.”
Samuel’s gentle manner surprised the doctor who was examining Celia for her injuries. It was rumored that Samuel was indifferent, but to everyone’s surprise, he was gentle and patient with his fiancée.
It made the public envious.
“But Sam, I’m so scared… I’m hurt all over. Does my legs still belong to me?”
Samuel patted the back of her hand and answered in a gentle voice, “You still got your legs. No worries. You’ll be fine. I’m here with you.
At this time, nobody noticed Elizabeth who was unconscious on the other bed. Elizabeth was lying there desolately, like an abandoned child.
The doctor was about to send Cella to the emergency room when a nurse rushed over and said, “Mr. York, there is only one emergency room left in our hospital. See, there are two patients…

The nurse meant to ask Samuel who would be saved first.
ог
Of these two women.
women, one was unconscious and the other was in severe pain.
“Hurry up and treat them!” Samuel thundered.
“Calm down. Mr. York, there are too many people in car accidents today. All the doctors are making efforts to save the injured. Many patients will die if the operations are stopped abruptly at this time. Please understand that there are no more emergency rooins for two patients for the time being.” The nurse tried to explain in a trembling voice, her voice trailing away in the end.
Samuel met this remark with a gloomy look and icy cold gaze which threw all the doctors and nurses present into a thrill, making them lower their heads in fear, not daring to say a word.
“Mr. York. 1. let me check around Miss Jones first.”
The doctor checked Elizabeth in fear, but he noticed no visual signs of trauma. It wasn’t a piece of good news since it could be fatal when the internal or*ans were hurt. Sometimes, things would be better if one bled a little with a visible trauma which was relatively easy to treat. The most terrible thing would be one couldn’t wake up due to the serious injures.
As a doctor, when encountering such a situation, he must save Elizabeth first because Celia’s trauma could be dealt with by nurses.
“Mr. York.” The leading doctor said, “I can’t tell how serious Miss Jones was hurt now. Her injuries are not visible. We highly suggest having her checked and treated immediately in the emergency room. None of us can make a judgment about her situation now. I am afraid that her internal or ans and brain were injured. The situation…”
Celia howled in pain, “Ah, it hurts! Sam, I’m in so much pain. Oh, I can’t move Before the doctor finished speaking my neck or lift my legs. When will I be sent to the emergency room? Sam, will my legs be cr*ppled?”
The people present were not surprised by Samuel’s decision at this time since they witnessed how considerate he was when facing Cella just now. They asked Samuel out of respect.
In fact, they already knew his answers to the question.
Samuel shot a cold gaze at Elizabeth who was lying on the side, and finally followed the doctors to send Celia into the emergency room.
He hated Elizabeth to the point that he hoped she could die and this was a precious opportunity.
He cursed inwardly, “Elizabeth, it was your karma.”
In fact, though lying on the stretcher, Elizabeth woke up in a daze when Samuel decided to save Celia first. Although she knew that Samuel would make such a decision, she was still down in spirits when she heard him say it himself.
