Regan POV
I was groggy as I slowly fluttered my eyes open, the bright sunlight causing me to close my eyes and then reopen them as I became temporarily blinded. I could feel silver cuffs on my hands, the burning sensation causing me to grimace, even as I glanced around confused, the swaying motion making me feel nauseous as I fought to keep myself from vomiting. Heather and Alpha Kai sat on the small motorboat, placid looks on their faces. We were on the water, crossing what looked like a large river and I could see nothing but water and trees surrounding us. Where the hell were we? Nothing looked remotely familiar to me. This was new territory.
“Ah you’re awake” Heather’s voice is nonchalant and filled with disinterest.
I try to sit more upright, glancing over the edge of the boat and debating whether I could fling myself over in time. However, I realized with a sinking feeling, that being able to swim would be hampered by the cuffs and I had never been a strong swimmer to begin with. I would likely drown before I made it back to land. Heather smirked, no doubt reading my mind as she raised a brow and deliberately glanced at the water with a smile on her face.
“You can throw yourself into the water if you like” she shrugged. It would be amusing to see you drown in front of me.”
I gritted my teeth and bunkered back down in the motorboat, unable to deny that she was correct. Alpha Kai merely grunted, steering the boat. I felt hot, reaching both hands up to wipe the sweat that was beginning to trickle down my forehead.
“How much longer” Heather griped.
She turned to look irritably at her mate. She too, looked heated, her cheeks red and flushed. Alpha Kai looked as though he had been asked this question too many times, a look of impatience coming across his face. “Not much longer” he snarled “but if you keep asking me questions then I’ll throw you overboard” he added threateningly.
I would have paid to see that. I silently wished he would.
“You wouldn’t dare” Heather muttered but I noticed that she fell silent and didn’t bother him again.
Alpha Kai remained quiet. I stared out at the water, lost in contemplation. I didn’t know how long I had been unconscious, and I didn’t know what or whose territory we were in. It could be neutral territory or even human territory. I began to get a sinking feeling inside of my stomach. How were Xavier and Xander going to be able to find me when I had no clue where here was? I couldn’t mind–link them. I was literally on my own unless they managed to discover my whereabouts some other way. I wanted my mates and I felt helpless, weak, and pitiful. It was not how I wanted to feel.
“Finally,” Heather murmured, the boat suddenly stopping as we emerged on land. She glared at me and motioned for me to get up and move. I got up and awkwardly stepped out onto the sand, noting my shoes had been taken off. I was barefoot but the sand and grass were soft. I stood next to the boat, watching as Heather and Alpha Kai moved it further inland, before coming back for me. Heather grabbed me roughly by the arm and led me into the thicket of trees.
“Let’s go” she snarled.
I allowed her to lead me, still weak and somewhat dazed. Alpha Kai pushed ahead and we followed behind him in silence. The only sound that could be heard were our footsteps as we trad across branches and fallen leaves, our thuds soft against the silence of this beautiful place that any other time I would have enjoyed experiencing.
Alpha Kai stopped. Heather shoved me and I fell to my knees wincing. We stood in front of a cabin, rustic, large, and hidden well. I bit my lip, glancing around, but there were no other signs of anything else that was remotely close by. No other accommodations or cabins. It was slightly strange. As though this was deliberately built to be hidden away.
Chapter 109
“I used to go fishing with my grandfather in this cabin” Alpha K spoke, his words carrying in the air. “It’s been a long time since it’s been used, but I’ve always kept it maintained and cleaned. It’s like being in the middle of nowhere. Isabelle should already be waiting for us. I gave her explicit instructions on how to get here and sent her everything she needed to make the trip” he added.
So, Isabelle was also here? Heather strode to the door of the cabin and knocked, the door creaking open and a blonde–haired girl threw herself into Heather’s waiting arms.
“Mother” she cried and then turned to look at me, a look of revulsion on her face. “I guess you had to bring the trash with you” she added in disgust.
“Do you want your revenge or not?” Heather cut in impatiently as Isabelle sulked. “The twins will be looking for her, so we need to get inside. Move” she turned and glared at me as Isabelle reluctantly moved from the doorway, “And don’t try anything unless you want my mate to get rid of that child inside of your womb prematurely” she threatened.
I walked towards Isabelle whose eyes were narrowed. “So you’re pregnant as well then” she spat out as I got inside and moved into the living room. “Well, you won’t be for long. I can’t wait to see the look on your face when we get rid of it.”
Heather and Alpha Kai had come inside. Heather grabbed my arm and looked at Isabelle. “Is the room prepared?” she asked slowly and with heavy emphasis.
Isabelle smirked. “What do you take me for? Of course, I prepared the room. If it wasn’t for him” she glanced at Alpha Kai who looked nonchalant “I wouldn’t have gotten here way ahead of you. I enjoyed making the room as uncomfortable as possible” she purred, her eyes gleaming as she looked at me “and all the supplies you want, and need are also prepared.”
“Good” Heather murmured. “Then let’s get her ready. Her mates must be going crazy looking for her and I have no doubts they will find her, but we’ll be ready for them.”
Alpha Kai snatched at my arm. I opened my mouth to protest but shut it at the look he gave me. He dragged me towards a set of doors, opening them. To my shock, there were stairs leading down. I tried to yank his hand off me, but it was futile. He dragged me down and turned the light on. I was in a basement of sorts. Except…this was no basement so much as a dungeon. There was a bed but there were restraints for the ankles. Bars covered the windows. I could see a trolley of torture implements nearby which increased my fear. A pair of stocks also stood there and various other torture equipment. I sucked in a breath while Alpha Kai reviewed the room eagerly. “Funny thing about my grandfather,” he said with a chuckle “he had certain perversions and kinks that were looked down upon by my grandmother so he had this cabin made specifically so that he could take care of those uh” he paused “interests without her knowledge. I have so many plans for you” he added with glee, practically rubbing his hands together.
Me? He rifled in his pocket and withdrew a key, undoing my cuffs. I heaved a sigh of relief, the burning sensation stopping. It was relatively short lived however as he dragged me over to the stocks. I fought, my hands clawing and scratching, but it only made him chuckle with amusement. Heather came over and so did Isabelle, both of them grabbing an arm and placing it in position, Alpha Kai pushing my head into the stocks and then locking everything. It was all silver. One wrong move and I would burn my flesh. I was forced to kneel on the floor, while Heather and Isabelle regarded me with a smirk.
“Now you look like the servant you’re meant to be,” Isabelle said with satisfaction.
I could not see Alpha Kai at all. Heather merely sighed. “Com,e Isabelle, we should leave and let my mate have his fun. I did promise him after all” she commented.
“What is he going to do?” my voice rose in panic as Heather and sabelle ignored me. “What is he going to do?”
Tfelt Alpha Kai’s hands as he caressed my back, his tone low and filled with enthusiasm.
“I like the sound a girl makes when she screams in pain. The sight of those red and black marks on her perfect complexion, nothing compares” he whispered and my stomach churned as I realized what I was in for. It seemed that Alpha Kai’s

grandfather wasn’t the only one who had certain perversions. No wonder he had kept the cabin, maintained and cleaned. The sick bastard had probably used it for the same damn reason I opened my mouth to scream and he laughed.
“Good, make them nice and loud,” he said approvingly, “otherwise it takes the fun out of it.”
