I habitually clicked on the homepage of Mandy’s Facebook. As expected, I saw her latest post about being hospitalized for an IV drip, saying, “When will I learn to take care of myself? Ten years have passed, and I still have to rely on you.”
I really didn’t understand how an adult, knowing her allergens, could end up in the hospital, and I no longer wanted to waste time figuring it out.
