Chapter 109 A Total Face–Slap!
Caden’s POV:

The moment Yura presented the patent document and displayed it for everyone, my curiosity hit its peak.
When was this patent signed?
Why wasn’t I aware of it?
Today, Rosaline once again exceeded my expectations. Not only did she counter Heartstone Jewels‘ accusations flawlessly, but she also managed to make Eclipse Group’s Ice and Fire even more captivating,
But how did Yura fit into all of this?
Clearly, her presence here was part of Rosaline’s plan.
How on earth did Rosaline know Yura? And when did she arrange to have such a patent signed?
Rosaline, you’re full of surprises. How many more do you have in store for me?
Marilyn, who had just moments ago exuded an air of superiority, now stood like a rat in the gutter, shamed and ridiculed by the crowd.
“Ms. Marilyn, can you explain why you plagiarized? Now that the original creator has exposed you, how do you feel?” a reporter pressed.
Marilyn’s face was stormy as she snapped, “No comment!” She shoved her way past the reporters and made to leave.
At that moment, Rosaline’s gaze turned to me. I understood–it was my turn to step in.
“Stop right there!” I called out, my voice ringing through the hall.
I stood from my seat, descending the podium and walking toward Marilyn.
“What’s the matter, Marilyn? After Heartstone Jewels fabricated accusations against Eclipse Group, do you think you can just walk away like this?” I unleashed the full force of my presence, letting my dominance fill the room.
Marilyn flinched, visibly trembling as she took a step back. “What do you want?”
I fixed her with an icy stare. “Apologize to Ms. Sinclair.”
“Why should I apologize to her?” Marilyn ground her teeth in defiance. “Even if Unbound was originally Loe’s concept, what does that have to do with Rosaline? Why should I apologize to her?”
I turned to Rosaline, my voice firm and deliberate. “Because Unbound was based on Rosaline’s designs.”
“What do you mean?” Marilyn’s already pale face turned a shade paler.

I continued, “Aside from the color–changing effect, several other elements of Unbound bear st similarities to Ice and Fire. That’s because you stole Rosaline’s designs and modified them into Unbound.”
Marilyn’s body trembled uncontrollably at my words. She took several deep breaths, clearly struggling to

I allowed a cold smile to tug at my lips, my gaze piercing. “Jeremy has confessed. He admitted to stealing Rosaline’s design drafts and selling them to you.”
Rosaline’s POV:
Jeremy?
Hearing Caden mention that name, I was slightly taken aback.
When I looked at Caden earlier, it was simply to signal him to stop Marilyn from leaving. But how did he suddenly bring up Jeremy?
If I remembered correctly, Jeremy was merely a design assistant who had joined Eclipse Group less than a
year ago.
He hadn’t been involved in the Ice and Fire project at all. How could he have stolen the designs and sold them to Marilyn?
Still, Marilyn’s reaction was telling. Upon hearing Jeremy’s name, her face drained of color.
Well, Caden, you sly fox. Looks like you’ve been holding onto some trump cards of your own.
It all made sense now. Marilyn’s suspiciously detailed access to Ice and Fire’s design drafts had always been a mystery. Turns out, Jeremy was the source.
A near–perfect theft plan, but with both me and Caden on her tail, her downfall was inevitable.
“And one more thing,” Caden added, his tone cutting like a blade. “I’ve had people investigate that Whirlwind magazine. It’s fake.”
His lips curled into a sharp smirk as he continued, “You received Rosaline’s design drafts a month ago. So how could you have published an article two months ago?”
“I …” Marilyn bit her lip, desperate to argue. But before she could, the central screen in the conference hall lit up.
A series of damning texts and voice recordings began playing–testimonies from her former classmates and colleagues.
It turned out that many of Marilyn’s works were plagiarized or cobbled together from others‘ ideas. Even her university graduation project had been stolen from a dormmate.
The truth unraveled: Marilyn’s father, wielding significant influence, had silenced these incidents and used wealth and power to build her reputation as an “international jewelry design master“.
Faced with irrefutable evidence, Marilyn’s complexion alternated between green and white. She screamed, “Turn it off! Turn it off now!”
No one paid any attention to her at all.
The murmurs in the room grew louder.
“Who would’ve thought? Marilyn, an internationally acclaimed designer, turned out to be a fraud! Not just a plagiarist, but one who even accused others of plagiarism. Shameless!”
“Ugh, I used to idolize her, studied her so–called masterpieces. Turns out they weren’t even hers!”

Marilyn’s meticulously constructed image crumbled in mere moments.
Watching her squirm under the weight of public scorn, I shot Caden a discreet victory gesture.
In just two days, he’d unearthed so inuch of Marilyn’s dirty history. Impressive.
There was no escape for her this time.

Amid the overwhelming criticism, Marilyn’s face contorted in fury. Realizing she could no longer salvage her reputation, she opted for the most dramatic route–pretending to faint and collapsing onto the ground.
Caden signaled the werewolf guards to take her away.
With the disruption dealt with, Caden returned to the podium, his commanding presence silencing the hall.
“That concludes the matter of plagiarism,” he announced. “I’d like to make one thing clear–Eclipse Group has always adhered to the highest standards of integrity. We prioritize our customers and strive for excellence in everything we do. Let me assure you, Eclipse Group will never stoop to something as disgraceful as plagiarism.”
The room erupted in thunderous applause.
