Chapter 117 Conflict at the Bar
Yura had been eyeing my handmade necklace for a long time.

It was a necklace I designed myself, adorned with many jewels, and its design was as exquisite as that of a master’s work.
I smirked. “Looks like you’re going to lose.”
Suddenly, a voice came from behind, “Hey, Rosie! Long time no see!”
I turned around. Nathan was walking towards us.
“What a small world.” I smiled.
“This stunning beauty over must be the legendary Yura Nadine.” Nathan snapped his fingers dramatically. “It’s an honor to finally meet you.”
I introduced them with a smile, “This is Nathan Lynch, the rising star who is all the rage.”
“I’ve seen you on television.” Yura nodded politely, “It’s a pleasure“.
Nathan sat down casually and puckered his lips, gesturing towards the dance floor. “Rosie, Yu, why don’t we go dance together?” A few of my friends are over there
“I’m good, thank you. You guys go ahead.” I rubbed my temples. I was here to relax myself, and dancing was not part of this.
Nathan and Yura headed to the dance floor.
I watched them dance excitedly, Suddenly, I was reminded of Caden dancing with Wendy.
I took a sip from my drink. Freya who had sensed my turmoil from deep within, came asking,
“Alpha, what do you think Caden is up to? He said he wants to take it to the next level with you but then he’s all over Wendy. Is he thinking of two–timing the both of you?”
I was annoyed. Freya had voiced my exact thoughts, but I didn’t want to talk about it. It was only going to be a waste of time.
I had already made up my mind. Three months and I would be out of here. I was done with this.
A few drinks in, I felt like I needed some air and went to the bathroom.
When I returned, a sleazy–looking beta werewolf in red was next to my seat.
He whistled when he saw me returning to my seat. “Hey gorgeous, looking a little lonely? How about a dance?” he slurred.
I wasn’t in the mood to respond. I took a few gulps of my drink, almost choking myself to de
The werewolf in red stood up swiftly and reached out his hands. “Hey gorgeous, you’re drunk. Let me take you home.”

“Get lost!” I pushed him away.

“You’re a feisty one, huh? But I like it spicy.” He hit the wall, but showed no intention of leaving. With a lecherous smile on his face, he said arrogantly, “So what does it take for you to go home with me?”
Freya would have murdered him if this happened last time.
“Please leave. I am losing my patience,” I gave a cold warning.
“Sure, come with me and you can lose all the patience you want. We would do anything to make you happy.” The werewolf in red was seemingly eager as he reached out his hands to grab me.
I stomped hard on his foot, causing him to wince in pain as he let go of me.
I quickly turned around to leave, but the guy was relentless. He grabbed my arm and tried to pull me towards him. “You’re going nowhere. I am going to have you for myself.”
This guy was asking for trouble.
I grabbed a nearby bottle and smashed it over his head.
Blood gushed out instantly.
“B*tch, you’re asking for trouble!” He probably did not expect an attack from me. His eyes turned red and said angrily, “Do you know who you’re talking to?”
I picked up another bottle, a smirk was hanging on my face. “I don’t care. Just get lost.”
The werewolf in red saw the wine bottle in my hand, he glared and yelled for a group of guys not far away, “All of you, get over here!”
A few big, burly werewolves immediately ran from the dancefloor and cornered me.
“Get her!” The werewolf in red held onto his head as he stared deadly at me. “B*tch, how dare you hit me! I am going to make you pay tonight.”
I looked at the group of men nonchalantly. Apart from the werewolf in red, the rest were low–ranking Omegas. They were clearly his lackeys.
These few punks were thinking of fighting me.
Such a big head they had.
I shall play long with them then.

“Keep still, I will make this lass behave.” One of the werewolves was eager to impress the werewolf in red. He threw himself towards me, wanting to catch me with his open arms.
I dodged him effortlessly, and seized the opportunity to kick him hard on his chin.
The kick was a fast and accurate strike. The werewolf howled in agony, spitting out blood as he laid on the ground motionless.
“Piece of trash! You can’t even beat a woman!” The werewolf in red was furious. He gave a waving gesture and ordered. “Bovs. go get her!”

Two werewolves roared and charged towards me.
What a bunch of idiots. I was about to step back to let eya take over when suddenly a cold, stern male voice was heard.
“Stop!”
A voice as cold as ice and as deep as the ocean cut through the air, commanding for instant obedience. The werewolves immediately froze in their tracks.
The werewolf in red was startled. “Who the hell is this Busybody?” he asked as he turned his head around.
A tall, imposing figure emerged from the shadows.
He stood against the lights, but I could tell that it was Caden.
The moment I heard his voice I knew it was him. Besides him, no one else could exude such a domineering aura.
Caden’s black suit seamlessly blended with the dark night. His gaze, cold and piercing, swept across the room. “How dare you lay a finger on my woman?”
