Lilian scrambled to her feet, preoccupied with fixing her hair and straightening her clothes, seemingly oblivious to how strong my shove had been.
I looked at her coldly, feeling a mix of amusement and exasperation.
Lilian’s pack was fairly well–known in Rivemon. Usually she flaunted her arrogance under Wendy’s wing. so there was no way she’d let this humiliation slide.
elling. “Why are you
Sure enough, after tidying her hair. Lilian immediately turned on the sales associate, yelling, “Why just standing there? Hurry up and call someone to take that dress off of her!”
“Ms. White, Ms. Crawford. I’ll go get the manager right away. The sales associate, caught between Wendy’s domineering presence and my unwillingness to back down, could only apologize softly as she hurried off to bring the manager.
Wendy snorted coldly. “Well, don’t just stand there. Go get the manager already!”
I calmly walked over to a nearby sofa and sat down.
Wendy acted like she owned this store, confident that the manager would side with her and kick me out.
What a ridiculous fantasy.
When she saw me lounging casually on the sofa, Wendy stormed over, glaring down at me with disdain. “Rosaline, I’ll give you one last chance. Take off that dress and hand it over now, or when the manager gets here and throws you out, don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
Ignoring her taunts, I took out my phone and sent a quick message to Yura.
Seeing me on my phone, Wendy gritted her teeth and sneered, “Don’t think that texting Caden to bail you. out will make me back off. I’m not letting you off the hook today!”
“All right,” I replied with a faint smile, putting my phone away.
About ten minutes later, the manager of Raveneaux Delux, Dale Willment, arrived in a rush.
“Mr. Willment!” Wendy opened her mouth to speak, but past her as if she didn’t exist.
le didn’t even glance at her, walking straight
Instead, he stopped in front of me, his demeanor respectful. “Ms. Sinclair, good afternoon.”
I cast a casual glance at Wendy, who was staring in disbelief, then turned my gaze back to Dale. “Mr. Willment, is this how your store conducts business?”
Beads of cold sweat formed on Dale’s forehead as he stammered, I deeply apologize, Ms. Sinclair. It was our staff’s mistake earlier. Please accept my sincerest apologies on her behalf.”
Wendy looked utterly stunned, clearly not expecting Dale to apologize to me.
Lilian, however, couldn’t hold back her fury, Grinding her teeth, she snapped, “Mr. Willment, are you

About ten minutes later, the manager of Raveneaux Deux, Dale Willment, arrived in a rush.
“Mr. Willment!” Wendy opened her mouth to speak, but Dale didn’t even glance at her, walking straight past her as if she didn’t exist.

the Alpha of the Wild Pack and Mr. Crawford’s most cherished granddaughter! Offending Wendy means offending the Wild Pack. Do you understand the consequences of what you’re doing? Can you handle it?”
Dale completely ignored Lilian and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. “Ms. Sinclair, as an apology, we’d like to gift you this gown free of charge. I hope you won’t be upset.
It was clear from Dale’s behavior that he had already received a call from Yura, the head of Loe Studio, informing him that her friend had been treated unfairly at Ravencaux Delux. Yura had likely made it clear that he needed to resolve the issue to my satisfaction–or else.
If not, Loe Studio would terminate its partnership with Ravencaux Delux, a decision made entirely at my direction.
Raveneaux Delux had gone through tremendous effort to secure a collaboration with Loe Studio, and losing it would be a catastrophic blow. Dale was undoubtedly willing to do whatever it took to ensure I left happy and Yura rescinded any talk of ending their contract.
Wendy’s eyes widened in disbelief as she rubbed her ears as though she couldn’t believe what she’d heard. She grabbed Dale’s arm. “Mr. Willment, this gown is worth ten million dollars! Why are you giving it to her for free?”
Dale forced a smile. I’m sorry, Ms. Crawford, but this dress must be gifted to Ms. Sinclair.”
Wendy’s face darkened. “Mr. Willment, I’ll pay triple the price for it!”
Still bowing slightly, Dale kept his polite tone. “Perhaps you’d like to take a look at some of our other high- end gowns. We have many luxurious options available”
“I want that one!” Wendy shouted. “I’ve never been denied something I set my sights on!”
Wendy’s unreasonable behavior was becoming tiresome. I had no desire to argue with her any longer. Rising from my seat, I addressed Dale firmly. “No need to gift it. I’ll have someone send over a check
tomorrow.”
With that, I turned on my heel and headed for the door
I had dinner plans with Ryan tonight, and I wasn’t about to let Wendy’s drama make me late.
“Rosaline, stop right there!” Wendy screamed, her voice filled with frustration. “Did you ask Caden to fight your battles for you?”
Seeing her so livid filled me with a sense of satisfaction
This fool, who only had eyes for Caden, had no idea that I had called Yura instead. She always assumed I was some country bumpkin, incapable of seeking help from anyone other than Caden.
Iraised an eyebrow and smirked. “What do you think?”
“Rosaline, you’re shameless! Besides seducing men, what else can you do? Do you think Caden likes you?” Wendy fumed, practically shaking with rage.
I retorted with a smirk. “If he doesn’t like me, then does he like you?”
“You lowly Omega!” Wendy screeched, her expression twisting in fury as I hit a nerve. Her meticulously crafted facade cracked, and she raised her hand to slap me across the face.”
