Chapter 35 Misunderstood

At first, I only intended to punish Rosaline. But her lips–soft and sweet–seemed to carry a magnetic pull that drew me in deeper.
The sensation was unlike anything I had ever experienced. Unable to resist, I deepened the kiss.
It was clear Rosaline wasn’t happy. She started struggling fiercely.
But I held her arms firmly, overpowering her. My tongue parted her lips forcefully, exploring and intertwining with hers.
Her soft chest pressed against mine, her heart racing wedly. She pushed against me with all her strength, but the sweetness of her mouth had me entranced. I pinned her hands behind her back, pulling her body closer to mine.
The temperature in the restroom seemed to rise steadily.
Her sweet, honeyed tongue only made me more intoxicated, and her familiar scent sent Edward into a frenzy,
“Claim her. Take her!”
My hands slid down to her chest, slipping under the lace of her bra. Soon, I felt a firm point beneath my fingertips. I knew exactly what it was. I pinched it gently, rolling it between my fingers.
Rosaline’s body began trembling, and that delicate softness gradually turned firm.
I felt my own body reacting. Unable to control myself, yanked open her blouse, revealing two supple, creamy breasts. Her pink nipples stood out like cherries
Just as I bent down to taste her, a sharp pain erupted on my lips—she had bitten me.
The metallic taste of blood filled my mouth, and I released Rosaline, wincing.
Rosaline quickly adjusted her bra, taking several deep breaths before glaring at me, seething. “Caden, you’re nothing but a pervert!”
The taste of blood lingered on my lips, and I was shocked by my lack of control.
My gaze locked onto Rosaline.
She despised me–enough to bite me.
Her expression brought back the memory of her singing for Ryan earlier. I couldn’t stop myself from imagining what she might look like being intimate with him.
A wave of anger gripped me.
Wiping the blood from my lips, I said coldly, “Ryan isnt right for you.”

Shut up!
I was utterly sprechless. It was clear Caden had misunderstood.
But Ryan was nothing more than a younger brother to the
Cadsunderstanding made him terrified. Not only had he stolen my first kiss, but he had also crossed the line. Did he think 1, the Alpha of the Shadow Pack, was someone to trille with?
He even dared to pull off my Hra. Did he think I was jug some random, easy she–wolf?

“That’s none of your business!” I shot Caden a fierce glare and stormed out, slamming the door behind me.
I was done. Not for one more second would I stay near such a dangerous mari.
I even scolded Freya for her ridiculous reaction to him.
My mood was completely ruined after what happened in the restroom. Stepping outside, I called Ryan. “Ryan. I’m leaving.
“Rosie, are you okay? You sound upset, Ryan’s concerned voice came through the line.
It’s nothing, just feeling a little unwell, I lied.
“Where are you? Let me take you home,
“There’s no need… “I started, but Ryan insisted.
When I reached the entrance, Ryan had already pulled up in his Maserati.
“Rosie, get in!” he said, opening the car door with a smile.
“Fine, I muttered, sliding into the passenger seat.
Caden’s POV:
When I returned to the private room, the business partner greeted me. “Mr. Holbrook, you’re back at last.”
I nodded, though my mind was elsewhere, replaying the events from earlier.
The kiss, her body–it was all intoxicating.
But she wasn’t my destined mate. The Moon Goddess hadn’t tied our fates.
Why was I feeling this way?
Even Edward didn’t have an answer. He pointed out that werewolves might engage out of pure desire, br what I felt wasn’t just lust.
Still, Rosaline’s hostility toward me was unmistakable, proving she wasn’t my fated mate.
Yet, I couldn’t shake the frustration.
Edward mocked me from deep within, but I ignored him. All I could think about was Rosaline’s stormy,

Worry gnawed at me. “What if she ran into danger so late at night?

“I need to go.” I stood abruptly, leaving the business partner confused as I exited the room.
I saw her getting into Ryan’s car when I reached the bark entrance.
They laughed together, her face lit with a smile–a stark contrast to the anger she had shown me.
Ryan hit the gas, and the car sped off, disappearing into the night..

Rage boiled within me. My expression darkened, and the cold energy I radiated seemed to lower the surrounding temperature.
“Mr. Holbrook, are you all right?” My business partner, who was about to leave, paused to check on me.
I shot him a frosty glare. “Go back inside. Bring out all the drinks!”
