Chapter 66 Choosing a Spokesperson
Jaspert
My brow twitched involuntarily.
To be fair, Jasper was indeed a great choice, but

“Jasper I’ve seen Jasper’s movies–they’re incredible, Bruce said with an approving nod. “I also think he’d be perfect as the spokesperson for ler and Fire”
After pondering momentarily, I nodded. “Since Jasper is a suitable spokesperson, I’ll talk to him”
Bruce was a major client and keeping him happy was part of my job.
I immediately called Jasper after leaving Hearthstone Hotel.
“Rosaline. Jasper’s happy voice came through the line. It was obvious he was thrilled that I had contacted.
him first.
I tried to keep my tone neutral. “It’s me. I have two things I’d like to ask for your help with.”
“Say no more.” Jasper replied enthusiastically. “Two things? I’d be happy to help even if it’s 2,000 things.”
1 sighed softly. He was perfect in every way–except for being so devoted to me. Refusing his affection made me feel like a sinner.
Still, I had to address the matter at hand.
Clearing my throat, I said, “First, someone took a photo of us the other day at the cafe. That picture ended. up with Caden.”
“Really? Caden didn’t make things difficult for you, did he?” Jasper asked, concerned.
“No, but think about it–was it one of your fans who took the photo?” I asked.
“I did ask her to delete it, but I’ll investigate further. Give me some time,” Jasper said guiltily.
“Alright,” I replied. “The second thing is about the Ice and Fire project I’m managing. It’s launching soon, and I’d like you to be its spokesperson. Do you have time for it?”
“Yes,” he agreed without hesitation.
“Thank you. Can you come to Eclipse Group for a rehearsal tomorrow afternoon?” I asked.
“No problem. As long as you’ll be there, Jasper said cheerfully.
I sighed internally. What a headache I was bringing upon myself, but I had no choice but to push through for work purposes.
After setting up Annie’s rehearsal for tomorrow afternoon, I returned to Eclipse Group.
As soon as I reached my desk, Sally from the neighboring desk said before I could even sit down, “Ms. Sinclair, Mr. Holbrook wants you to go to his office as soon as you return.”

With a mix of unease and curiosity, I took the elevator to Caden’s office. My heart involuntarily trembled as his cold and stern face appeared in my mind.
“Relax. If he dares trouble you again, I’ll rip out his throat. Freya’s voice echoed in my head, trying to bolster my courage.
“No need for that. If you actually did that, Grandpa would team up with the elders to exile me from the
clan.”
I knocked on the office door while joking with Freya to ease my nerves.
“Come in,” Caden’s deep voice responded.
I pushed the door open and stepped in.
Caden sat behind his desk with a document in his hand. Every move he made exuded sophistication and dominance as if he were born to rule the world.
“What is it, Caden?” I asked, keeping my tone steady.
Hearing my voice, Caden glanced up at me. “Where were you?” he asked.
“I just returned from Hearthstone Hotel. The samples for Ice and Fire have been produced, and I brought them there for Mr. Collins to review,” I answered truthfully.
“Is that so?” His handsome face turned colder. “If the samples are ready, why didn’t you show them to me first?
I’d been avoiding him for the past few days, but seeing how urgently he was questioning me now, it seemed he was genuinely concerned.
When our eyes met, I awkwardly averted my face while offering a faint smile. “You didn’t ask me to show you at all.”
“So, you just took matters into your own hands? As the project manager, don’t you know you’re supposed to report project progress to your superior?” His eyes narrowed slightly as he asked with a hint of anger.
“I didn’t think it was necessary to trouble you with such minor matters. After all, Ice and Fire is just a small project for the company. Besides, I first sought Mr. Collins‘ opinion, and I plan to report to you afterward if any changes are needed. I see no issue with that approach.”
Caden’s POV:
Truthfully, Rosaline wasn’t wrong.
Jewelry wasn’t a core part of Eclipse Group’s business, and I’d never paid much attention to it before.
But since Rosaline took over, I found myself inexplicably drawn to it. Or rather, drawn to her.
Still, her deliberate avoidance of me these past few days was infuriating.
No matter the tension between us, we had to maintain a good act–after all, she was still my fiancée.
“And what did Bruce think?” I asked, a faint smile playing on my lips.

“He had no objections, Rosaline replied. “Bruce had only good things to say about the project. Whether it was the design, production progress, or the final samples, he was completely satisfied.”
Hearing this, I leaned back in my chair. With nothing to criticize, I let the matter drop and asked, “When’s the launch?
“Very soon. Once the advertisement is filmed, I’ll arrange a press conference. I’m confident it will make a big
splash.” Rosaline’s face lit up with confidence.
I believed her. Ice and Fire was her project, and she had overseen every detail. With her capability, there was no doubt it would be a success.
I nodded in approval. “Who have you chosen as the spokespersons?”
At this, Rosaline visibly hesitated.
I raised an eyebrow curiously,
After a brief pause, she replied, “The female spokesperson is a newcomer–Annie, Mr. Collins‘ girlfriend. The male spokesperson is… Jasper.”
