Chapter 69 The Confrontation
Caden walked toward me with a piercing gaze. “How’s the preparation going?” he asked.

“Everything’s ready. We can start now” I adjusted the stack of documents in my hands and replied calmly.
He nodded slightly as his eyes swept over the set. Without another word, he made his way to a seat nearly and sat down with crossed legs
Even though he simply sat there, his commanding presence seemed to fill the room, making it hard to breathe easily.
I frowned slightly. Was Caden really planning to stay and watch the shoor
For someone like him, a small advertisement like this should be beneath his notice. Did he really need to lower himself to supervise personally
“Begin,” Caden instructed.
The entire team, now on edge due to his presence, worked with heightened focus as the shoot commenced.
However, a commotion crupted at the door.
I glanced over and spotted Wendy standing there, trying to push her way into the studio, only to be stopped by the staff
What now? Why was she here again?
“Sorry, Ms. Crawford, you can’t go in,” the staff member explained politely.
“Why can’t I? Wendy craned her neck, trying to get a look inside.
Judging by the folder in her hand, she was likely using some excuse related to the collaboration between. Wild Pack and Eclipse Pack to see Caden.
I turned my gaze toward Caden. He sat there, composed and unbothered, making no effort to acknowledge Wendy’s presence.
“I’m here to see Caden. Let me in, Wendy insisted, glaring at the staff member blocking her way. “Do you even know who I am? I’m from the Wild Pack!”
The staff member hesitated briefly before walking over to Caden. He asked respectfully, “Mr. Holbrook, Ms. Crawford says she’s here to see you. Should we let her in?”
“Send her away,” Caden said coldly.
I silently cheered for him.
If Wendy came in, she’d undoubtedly cause trouble and disrupt the shoot.
“I’m
sorry, Ms. Crawford,” the staff member said firmly, “we’re in the middle of a shoot. Non–staff members are not allowed inside.”
“Fine! I’ll just stay right here.” Wendy huffed, clearly unwilling to leave.

Jasper, focusing on the shoot.
As expected of an award–winning actor, Jasper performed flawlessly.
Annic, however, was a different story.
“Stop.” I called out, pausing the shoot,
“What’s wrong?” Jasper asked with concer

Annie froze, her expression turning defensive. “What was wrong with it?”

“The theme of Ice and Fire‘ is to highlight a woman’s elegance and fiery passion. You showed passion but lacked elegance.” I explained matter–of–factly.
“I don’t think so. Annie said, her face tense with displeasure. It was clear she didn’t take kindly to my criticism. “Ms. Sinclair, do you even know anything about filming commercials? If you don’t, you should just keep quiet.”
I smirked inwardly. This girl really had some nerve. She seemed to think she could challenge my opinions since she was Bruce’s girlfriend.
With that level of intelligence, I had no idea what Bruce saw in her.
I gave her a faint smile and replied calmly, “All I know is that as a spokesperson, you need to embody the essence of the product. If you can’t manage that, Ms. Annie, I’ll have to find someone else who can.”
“You!” Annie’s expression shifted. She turned to Bruce, her eyes brimming with a pitiful blend of grievance and flirtation. “Babe, I wasn’t that bad, was 1?”
Bruce stood up and walked toward her. His deep blue the shoot as she suggested.”

Annic froze with disbelief written all over her face. She shot me a glare before forcing a stiff smile at Bruce. “Fine. Let’s reshoot.”
However, no matter how many takes we did, Annie just couldn’t deliver the aura of elegance and sophistication the campaign required.
Time and again, I had to call for a stop, patiently correcting her.
Instead of improving, Annie grew increasingly uncooperative, and the results kept deteriorating.
As time dragged on, delaying our schedule, I had no choice but to step in. I gently pushed Annie aside and demonstrated the role myself.
“Lower your head slightly, lift your hand a little higher, and, most importantly, let your gaze exude an untouchable, regal air,” I explained as I moved to stand beside Jasper. Placing my hand lightly on his shoulder, I perfectly embodied the icy, glamorous allure of “Ice and Fire.
“Yes, that’s exactly the vibe we need!” The photographer snapped his fingers in excitement, showering praise on my precise execution.
Everyone on set gathered to watch us. With Jasper’s movie–star good looks and my striking presence, we

created an undeniably captivating scene.
Sitting silently on the sidelines, Caden suddenly stood up with a cold expression.

As he walked over, the crowd instinctively parted. No one wanted to risk being pierced by the chill in his
eyes.
He strode straight to the set, grabbed Jasper by the arm, and pulled him aside without a word. Taking Jasper’s place next to me, he said coolly. “I’ll do it”
