Laura was working now. She was so busy with her job that she barely had time for herself.

“Laura, since you’ve made up your mind to leave the Webb family and that man, don’t waver no matter what he says. Otherwise, you’ll only end up hurting yourself. With me around you don’t have to be afraid.” Doris reassured her.
“Count me in too,” Lewis finally chimed in.
