Chapter 3
He turned his head, smiling with interest,
“Where to? I’ll give you a ride,”
I tossed my luggage into his car without hesitation.
The alcohol was kicking in fast, and I stumbled, falling over.
Grabbing onto Frank, I wrapped my arms around his neck without thinking.
he banquet earlier, he had been bold and confident.
But now, when I leaned in to kiss him, he dodged without hesitation.
The coldness in his eyes made me falter.
But then Frank’s hand landed on my waist, holding me steady.
My legs felt weak, and I collapsed against his chest.
“You better look closely. I’m not Eason Graylen.”
I stood on tiptoe and kissed the corner of his lips.
“You don’t believe me?”
Frank reached for his phone, but I grabbed his hand.
“I just wanted to see what it feels like to be with someone younger.”
The cold look in his eyes faded.
With one arm, Frank scooped me into the car.
“Don’t pull on my clothes,” I muttered.
“How else are we supposed to test it out?”
The hard edge of the car seat hurt my back.
“Not in the car,” I said.
Frank glanced back at the villa.
I quickly covered his eyes. “Not there either. Take me to your place.”
“I just got back. I haven’t settled in yet. I’m staying at the family estate for now.”
“Then let’s go to the estate.”
Frank chuckled. “Are you sure?”
Sitting in the passenger seat, my head throbbed, and I didn’t think too much about it.
By the time I realized, we were already at the Graylen family estate.
Frank carried me inside. I clung to his suit jacket, burying my face in it.
He jostled me playfully.
“Didn’t you want to come back? Why are you hiding now?”

Chapter 3
That night, everyone in the Graylen household knew Frank had brought home a woman.
No one dared to disturb us.
Eason wasn’t wrong.
Being with someone younger did feel different.
“Break up with him,” Frank said lazily, leaning against the bed.
He didn’t know that we’d already broken up.
But I had no intention of staying in the Graylen family’s den any longer.
“You want to get married, don’t you? Break up with him, and I’ll marry you.”
I never expected Frank to say something like that.
“I’ll give you three days to think about it,” he said.
It took me a while to find my voice. “Alright…”
A knock sounded at the door.
Thinking it was a servant waking us up, I was about to answer when I heard Eason’s voice.
“Frank, are you awake?”
I froze, pulling my hand back, and jumped back onto the bed.
Frank chuckled softly.
Then he called toward the door, “I’m up.”
“I heard you brought a woman home last night?”
“Big Brother, your information network is impressive.”
“Ibrought a gift for my new sister–in–law. If it’s convenient, let me meet her.”
My heart pounded, sweat dampening my palms.
Frank climbed out of bed. “Coming.”
