Love Story5–Chapter 1
Love Story5–Chapter 1
After getting the divorce certificate, Cadog Brown got into the car without looking back.
In the passenger seat was his new assistant
Ausra Clark.
Five years of dating, three years of marriage.
Eight years of youth ended with this.
I vaguely remembered the times when Cadog used to wrap his arm around my waist, calling my name lazily, stretching it out.
ya, oh Diva.”
And now, everything was over.
I moved everything back to the original house.
It was already night when I finished packing, and the phone suddenly rang.
“Hello, is this Mrs. Harris?”
Your husband has been in an accident. Please come to the hospital.”
Husband…?
I froze for a moment.
Suddenly, I remembered the look of disdain in Cadog’s eyes when he asked for the divorce.
“Diva, is this really necessary?”
“There’s no love left between us.”
I paused.
“Sorry, you have the wrong number.”
I hung up, feeling a sense of relief wash over me.
I thought he must have died from the accident by now.
But when I opened the door, I was stunned to see Cadog Brown, his head wrapped in thick bandages, curled up in the corner of the room.
He probably came here right after leaving the hospital.
The noise woke him, and he opened his eyes groggily.
When he saw me, his eyes lit up, and he smiled brightly.
“Diva, you’re awake.”
“I didn’t want to disturb your rest, so I didn’t knock.”
I froze, frowning at him.
“Cadog Brown, what are you playing at? I’ve agreed to all your requests. I hope you’ll stay out of my life from now on.”
Cadog tilted his head.
“What are you talking about, Diva?”
“Todavic
Love Storys Chapter 1
The scene in front of me was hard to comprehend.
Cadog walked around my house with familiarity, went into the bathroom, and opened the second to last drawer to pull out an unopened toothbrush.
Give me five minutes, it’ll be quick.”
This house was the one Cadog and I rented when we first started working.
For a long time, this was our home.
Later, Cadog’s career took off, and he bought a new house,
I couldn’t bear to part with this place, which held five years of memories for us, so I bought it from the landlord,
be beginning, we would still come back to visit.
Gradally, only I came every month to clean.
Cadog said, “The old house just doesn’t compare to the new one. If something needs to be abandoned, do it in time.”
He should have forgotten the layout of the rooms by now.
But now, with his actions, it really felt like the Cadog of five years ago.
He quickly finished getting ready and smiled as he took my hand.
“Let’s go. You’ve always wanted to eat at the new hotpot place at the food street, right?”
I smiled faintly and pulled my hand away from his.
“My tastes have changed.”
“I prefer lighter food now.”
He looked surprised, and was about to speak when the phone rang suddenly.
Cadeg took out his phone, looked at the screen, and saw “Diva” written there. He looked at me confusedly.
“I don’t remember anyone by that name.”
Ifmiled at him, signaling for him to answer.
“Cadog! Where are you? You should be resting at the hospital after the accident!”
“I couldn’t find you at home, and no one at the company knows where you went…”
Ausra Clark’s voice was loud, and Cadog glanced at me, as if afraid I would misunderstand their relationship.
He furrowed his brows and said, “Lady, please mind your language.”
“First of all, I’m at my girlfriend’s house. Secondly, this is my only home.”
He hung up the phone.
Seeing this, I couldn’t help but find it somewhat amusing.
The cheater had forgotten the mistakes he made and was now stating his position with a straight face in front of the victim.
He was hiding something. The affair he had with Ausra Clark was well known.
Eventhe reason Ausra was able to join the company was because of Cadog’s arrangement.
He claimed it was because of her learning ability and high–pressure resilience, but the real reason was her looks and figure,
Thinking about it made me sick to my stomach.

I didn’t want to play any more games of “returning to the old days” with Cadog.
I threw the divorce certificate at him.
Cadog was about to explain when he saw the document in his hand. He froze in place, incredulously saying,
“Divorce certificate?”
He looked up at me. “When did we get married? Why don’t I remember any of this?”
“Diva, even so, I will never divorce you. You know me.”
“The one I love most in this world is you, and only you.”
og’s face was full of grievance and disbelief, yet he didn’t realize he was the one who caused all of this.
I placed the evidence of his affair with Ausra Clark in front of him.
He flipped through the videos and chat records, his face turning pale.
“It’s not… it’s not like that.”
I took a deep breath and pushed him aside, walking straight out the door.
“We got the divorce certificate yesterday. And on the same day, you got into a car accident and lost five years of memory.”
“The evidence is right there, and you just took the call.”
“The caller was your mistress, Ausra Clark.”
“So. Cadog, don’t come in front of me again to disgust me.”
