Chapter 6
I cried my eyes out when my best friend Hannah Chow pulled up in a Maybach.
Wiping my tears, I sniffled:
“Hannah? What… what are you doing here?”
She opened the car door, walked over to me, grabbed my hand, and said nonchalantly:
“You useless thing, come on, sis will take you out in style!”
took off her sunglasses and tugged me into the car.
At the KTV, I drank until I went crazy, completely disregarding my image.
“Why? Why did you lie to me? Huh?”
“My chest hurts… my heart hurts! He was the one who said he’d protect me…”
“Why did he abandon me? Woooooo!”
Hannah pressed her fingers to her forehead, unable to watch any longer.
She signaled a couple of men to come over and told them to stop me from drinking.
I wrapped my arms around a man who looked oddly familiar and pinched his chin, laughing:
“Hey, where did this handsome guy come from? He’s really handsome!”
I swallowed hard, then asked Hannah:
“Hey, can I… can I sleep with him?”
Hannah crossed her arms and stared at me, speechless.
Before she could respond, the man spoke up first, “Sure.”
