Chapter 7
In the hotel room, my stomach felt like it was turning upside down.
I knelt by the toilet, vomiting and crying at the same time.
The sadness hadn’t left me.
“Are you okay?”
The man’s shirt was covered in the mess I’d thrown up.
it’s fine,” I said, clutching my stomach, feeling a little better.
He seemed unconvinced but silently took off his shirt.
The white shirt fell to the floor, and his well–defined eight–pack abs came into view.
I didn’t even realize when my uncontrollable drool started to drip…
“Slurp,” I quickly sucked it back in.
“What’s… what’s your name? Why do I feel like… like I’ve seen you before?”
I asked, curious.
The man froze for a second, staring at his reflection in the mirror. A smile slowly appeared on his lips.
“Alex.”
His voice was deep and steady.
Alex? I felt like I had heard that name before.
Ugh, my head hurts, I can’t think straight.
I grabbed the wall to steady myself, but my legs gave out, and I collapsed into Alex’s arms…
I didn’t mean to…”
I stammered, trying to explain–or maybe make an excuse.
But Alex’s arms were solid, his biceps flexing with the sudden movement.
He gave me a smirk. “Don’t be shy, Zoe, since you want it.”
He lifted me effortlessly in a princess carry and headed toward the bed.
Soon, I found myself lost in an intense, passionate moment.
After an hour of tangled sheets, I was completely drained and fell asleep in Alex ‘s arms…
