Chapter 10
Chapter 10
John made a very public post on WhatsApp:
[Let me introduce my first love to you all: Olivia.]

In the photo, John and Olivia were holding hands, wrapped up in each other.
I couldn’t help but laugh at the words “first love.”
mediately blocked him on WhatsApp.
At that moment, all the lingering thoughts I had for him disappeared.
The only feeling left was disgust–hypocrisy, repulsive hypocrisy.
In the afternoon, my roommate invited me to watch a gaming match at the esports club, and I agreed.
But to my surprise, I ran into Alex there!
He was leaning lazily against the corner, his eyes focused on the screen as he played.
I froze, stiffening where I stood. My roommate noticed and asked, “What’s wrong, Zoe?”
She followed my gaze to the figure in the corner.
The sunlight shone down on him, making him look almost too dazzling.
“He’s Alex White,” I muttered.
“Huh?!”
My roommate’s gasp was so loud that it drew the attention of everyone around us.
Especially Alex, who slowly lifted his gaze, meeting my eyes directly.
His expression seemed to say, “Good afternoon, Zoe.”
I flushed, my heart racing in my chest.
I quickly covered my face, tugging my roommate to a nearby empty seat.
“Well, Zoe, looks like you’ve bagged yourself quite the catch!”
My roommate was practically bursting with excitement.
I hid my face, not daring to look at them.
Just then, a pair of shoes appeared in my field of vision, followed by Alex’s calm voice:
“Zoe, good to see you again. Would you do me the honor of having dinner with me?”
I was torn, but before I could respond, my roommate immediately said, “Yes!”
