“This… Nick almost broke down. He hurriedly put the alcohol away, thinking, ‘I can’t let Wendy see it. But he felt more and more scared inside, even the flesh on his face was trembling. He suspected that he was sick, and it was serious.
Easton returned to the office across the way.
Xavier told him that the front desk and Isabelle had already left. The design department needed to find a new designer.

Easton frowned, thinking, ‘Jennifer is very careful; it’s likely that we won’t find anything right away!
Easton waved his hand, signaling Xavier to leave.
Easton took out his phone and called Jason.
The call was answered quickly. “Easton, I was just about to call you. Natalie suddenly came over and said I stole his design draft for your company. Isn’t he wronging me?”
Easton’s upright voice was lazy yet cold, and his gaze was frosty. Jason, Natalie has been here. She showed the video of you taking the photos, and our design director also confirmed that the design draft was sent to her by you.”
Jason laughed in anger. “Easton, do you really believe Natalie’s nonsense? Another possibility is that Natalie colluded with your design director to frame me.”
Easton sighed. “So she’s been having such a hard time at your place. I haven’t treated her poorly for no reason; it’s just blindness of the heart and mind.”
He continued. “Jason, Natalie is your sister, yet your family claims she’s adopted. As a family, if you don’t even regard her, how can you expect anyone else to? Severing ties with your family is good for her; at least she doesn’t have to face a shameless brother like you.”
He added. “If those pieces of evidence are handed over to the police, you could face over ten years in prison. Having a brother like you and a husband like me must be the most painful thing in her life.”
“No, I really didn’t do it! I admit I took the photos, but I didn’t send the national photos,” Jason was anxious; hearing about over ten years in prison truly scared him.
Jason, Isabelle confirmed with her own mouth that you sent her the photos. Why are you suddenly afraid to admit it when it involves you?” Easton angrily hung up the phone after saying this.

Due to the sudden theft of the design draft, Natalie had been working day and night on designs at the company for the past three days.
Murray invited her to watch the three–year racing event, but she didn’t have time to go. However, Murray reminded her, and she carefully recalled the events from her past life; she had already asked Luna to sign up to keep an eye on Jennifer.
Luna was also a racer, but she didn’t compete often.
She couldn’t miss out on the collaboration with Maurice.
On the day of the competition, she was still sketching design drafts. After crying once, inspiration flowed in endlessly. By the afternoon, she had completed twenty–five design drafts, and she was satisfied with each one.
She stood up, stretched her body a bit; after sitting for so many days, she felt sore all over. Yet, she was in a good mood, her eyes beaming with joy.

She raised her hands, casually exuding a bit of lazy sensuality. With a calm and relaxed yawn, she headed to the bathroom. After her shower, forty minutes had already passed. She was getting ready to go home and rest when she received a call from the police.
When Natalie saw the caller ID, she almost thought she was seeing things.
‘Why would the police station call me?‘ As she wondered, she answered the phone.
“Is this Ms. Natalie Shawn?” a serious voice came from the other end.
Natalie said, “Yes, it is.”
The police said, “Here’s the situation: Jason lost control of his car during the race, sustaining severe injuries and serious deformities in both legs. Technicians have found that his car had been tampered with, and he claims it was you who set him up, Ms. Shawn.”
The police added. “Please come in for questioning, as there have been many conflicts between you two, making you the prime suspect.”
Natalie was furious, ‘Can it be like this? I don’t remember this happening in my previous life. How did this come back to bite me? It’s clear that Jennifer and Nick are ruthless and cunning. Have they gathered evidence against me?‘
Frowning, Natalie thought, “This situation is a bit tricky. Jennifer really is skilled at this!
Natalie asked, “So where should I go for the investigation?”
The police replied, “Please head to the hospital. The patient has already been taken there; the address is near the racetrack.”
Natalie said, “Okay! I’ll be there right away.” She hung up and went downstairs.
At the hospital, Jennifer and Nick were there to watch the race. They were also the ones who brought Jason to the hospital.
After two long hours of examination, the doctor announced that Jason had shattered fractures in both legs. Even if treated, he would never be able to race again.
