Before Tiana arrived, she had already scoped out Fashion Fusion’s fashion designs. Behind the scenes, their company had an amazing designer, but no one knew who it was. 

The clothes from this company faced risks each quarter. However, the designer had some issues in the past two years, leading to the company’s decline. But Tiana always believed in the company’s strength, and Damian also highly regarded Fashion Fusion’s potential. 

Tiana nodded happily. “Sure, Natalie. I’ll talk to my dad tonight. He’ll definitely agree. My dad has been interested in collaborating with Mr. Walsh, but Mr. Walsh never gave us the chance. With you, we’re sure to succeed.” 

Natalie knew about this, but back then, she had been headed over heels in love and focused on taking care of Easton, so she hadn’t been designing anything new. Now that she was back, the company was thriving again. 

But at that moment, Vance chimed in with a sneer, “Natalie, what makes you think you can decide anything for Fashion Fusion? Mr. Walsh hasn’t even said a word. What makes you, a designer, think you can call the shots of Fashion Fusion? 

“Don’t forget, you’re just a girl from an impoverished town. What do you know about design? I bet you’re not even as good as Khloe, right?” 

Natalie ignored Vance’s snide remarks, finding him annoying. She tilted her head and looked at Vance. “Why are you still here?” 

Vance was taken aback, staring at Natalie. “I’ve been here the whole time. Natalie, you wicked woman, did you say something to Tiana? That’s why she won’t come to my wedding?” 

Natalie thought Vance must have delusions. Tiana was furious. “Vance, have a little shame, will you? Why do you always blame Natalie for everything? Listen, Vance, the truly wicked ones are the Simpsons. 

“You just don’t realize it, do you? Stepping on others‘ pain and rubbing salt in the wound–do you think that makes you better than everyone else? 

“What’s wrong with Natalie being a designer? What’s wrong with her being from an impoverished town? You, a third–rate college graduate from the city, don’t have her skills. She became the design director and impressed Mr. Chambers with her designs. 

“You’re the last person who should be talking about Natalie. You enjoy luxury and wealth, but you ignore your own sister.” 

Tiana pointed at Khloe. “I should thank Khloe for showing up. Her rotten life helped me see that you two are equally rotten. You two are a perfect match. 

“As for you, Khloe, your dirty secrets can be uncovered with a bit of effort. I’ve already found out, so don’t mess with me. Otherwise, on your wedding day, I’ll give you a big surprise.” 

Khloe was stunned, panicking. “Tiana, you’re just jealous and trying to frame me. You say my life is rotten. Yes, I’m an orphan, so my life is tough. I’m not like you, a pampered princess who gets everything handed to her. 

“But everything I have; I earned with my own hands. Who are you to judge me?” Khloe started crying, leaning into Vance’s chest, looking pitiful. 

Natalie thought What a bunch of nonsense!‘ Tiana thought, ‘Honestly, this woman is a nightmare.’ 

Tiana laughed coldly. “Khloe, since you insist on this, I have to do something to repay what you’ve done to me. At your wedding, I’ll give you a real surprise.” 

“Vance, I hope you’re ready for the surprise I’ve got for you. Don’t come crying when you regret choosing who you did.” Tiana finished, getting up and pulling Natalie along. “Let’s go, Natalie. There’s no way I can eat this, I’ll take you somewhere

Vance stared at Tiana’s furious little face, his eyes dark, jaw clenched. Natalie took a few steps but then stopped, turning to 

look at Vance. 

She said, “Vance, you deliberately smeared my reputation online I don’t plan on letting this go. Your accusation that I’m promiscuous has left a stain on my life and subjected me to online harassment. 

“I know who I am, and deep down, you do too. But because your hearts are with Jennifer, you’re throwing all the dirt and blame my way. You don’t care if it’s true or not. 

“You just want others to enjoy the pleasure of cursing me while basking in the glow of righteousness and justice yourself. Vance, until it happens to you, you won’t understand how much it hurts. 

“By giving them an imaginary target, you’re allowing them to trample me in the mud. You stirred up the stagnant lives of those empty souls, making them feel alive by dragging my reputation through the mud. Vance, I won’t let this, and you, slide.” 

Vance was taken aback. He only wanted to ruin her reputation so she’d beg him for forgiveness, never expecting such a fierce reaction from her. 

“Natalie, if you go back and apologize to Jennifer, I can let this go and stop the public outrage,” Vance sneered, a sinister glint in his eyes. 

Natalie turned to him with a smile, then glanced at Khloe beside her. “I will kneel and bow, but it will be at your funeral. I think you can’t see it.” 

“Natalie, you dare curse me to death?” Vance was enraged. ‘How could she be so venomous, wishing for my demise?‘ he thought. 

He lunged at Natalie, but Khloe held him back, soothing him gently. “Calm down, Vance. Natalie is just being nasty. Let her have her say. Once she’s out of the Simpson family, things won’t be easy for her. 

“Even the position of design director she got by seducing Mr. Walsh, she’s gone now, let’s not dwell on it.” 

Natalie froze at Khloe’s words, staring at her with a strange smile. “Khloe, since you love spreading rumors, that’s perfect. At your wedding, I’ll definitely give you a big gift.” 

Khloe’s eyes widened, watching Natalie’s cold back as she walked away. She didn’t dare say anything more. Natalie’s gaze obviously revealed she knew something. 

“Come on, Khloe, ignore her. She’s just a lunatic,” Vance said, pulling Khloe to sit down nearby. 

After they left, Tiana burst into tears, looking at Natalie, who seemed unfazed. “Natalie, how can you have such a family? I must be blind to even like Vance, that idiot.” 

Natalie saw Tiana’s heart–wrenching sobs and patted her shoulder comfortingly. “Tiana, don’t cry. The road for women in the workplace is never smooth, but from now on, we won’t back down. 

“The more we tolerate, the less respect we get. There are jerks everywhere, and we can’t control what others say, but we can stand up for ourselves.” 

Tiana nodded sadly, tears streaming down her face. “You’re right, Natalie. What Vance did to you is unforgivable. It’s so easy to ruin a girl, and rumors about women are the most damaging. For him to do this to you, it’s heartbreaking.”
