Natalie turned around suddenly and saw Easton standing there.
Easton pulled Natalie behind him, stepped forward, and knocked the other two men to the ground with quick, ruthless precision, leaving them no chance to fight back.

That was when Natalie realized she might not know Easton as well as she thought.
Easton didn’t have to like her just because she liked him.
However, Easton shouldn’t have sided with the Simpson family and Jennifer when they were plotting against Natalie.
Easton pulled out his phone and straightaway called the police.
The three men were in tears, and one of them cried, “Man, I’m still in college. I can’t have a criminal record. Please let me go. If I get a record, how will I find a job later?”
Easton gazed at him with a cold stare and remarked, “You’re aware that having a criminal record is not an option for you, yet you chose to jeopardize your future. If you end up with a record, you’ll have only yourself to blame.”
The man fell silent.

The man was dragged away, bawling and cursing.

Natalie realized that Easton didn’t believe what she said.
Easton truly didn’t believe her. He even had someone look into Natalie’s past. Her background seemed spotless–she grew up in a poor town, and she was brought to the Garcia residence all muddy.
Easton remarked, “Natalie, I know you’ve been upset about being set up, but becoming a better person is the best way forward.
“I’ve already reached out to some universities abroad…”
Natalie interrupted him, “Shut up! Who do you think you are to boss me around in my life?”
Natalie shot Easton a warning glance. Seeing Luna’s car arriving she opened the door and got in.
Easton watched as the car disappeared into the distance, standing there with a dark expression.
Easton was aware that Natalie had knowledge of medicine, but her expertise was not as extensive as she professed.
He believed she was a talented designer and her work was truly impressive.
Easton turned around, got into the car by the roadside, and drove back to the Gracie residence. Despite his earlier anger, he was genuinely worried about her safety, which was why he followed Natalie.
Now that the danger had passed, he felt relieved.
Natalie returned home, took a warm bath, and lay on her bed, thinking about Easton’s words. She almost broke down. Natalie thought, ‘He’s arrogant and selfish. Why should I let a jerk’s words affect me and hurt my health?‘
“Ugh…” Natalie groaned, rolling around on her bed in pain.
“Damn Easton!” Natalie cursed and turned over again, eventually rolling off onto the floor.
She stood up, looked out the window, and chuckled bitterly to herself, saying, “Why am I so upset? As long as I know how great I am, that’s all that matters.”
Natalie took a deep breath, pushing down the sadness in her heart.
She closed her eyes, but the tears streamed down nonstop.
It still hurt a lot.
Natalie wondered, ‘Who said if you tilt your head up, the tears won’t fall?
She had closed her eyes, but she still felt heartbroken.
