“Ah!” Jennifer, overwhelmed with anger, smashed the fish tank. 

Water and fish from the tank splashed everywhere, the stranded fish flopping desperately on the soaked floor.

Nora nodded with a smile. “Alright!” 

As Wendy turned to leave, Maria said, “Let’s go and see how they plan to acquire the company.” 

Wendy, however, knew that their willingness to acquire the company stemmed from the previous withdrawal of investments and the fact that some of the company’s partners had already been bought off by the other side. 

‘But do you really think everything will go as planned?” she thought to herself.. 

Wendy gave a mysterious smile, thinking that after today, it would be back to dealing with all the usual headaches and drama. 

Natalie decided not to go to the office and headed straight home 

As she reached the gate, she saw Easton waiting there. 

Easton stood tall in the snowstorm, like a lone tree braving the storm, proud and aloof, 

Natalie found it amusing. Ever since Jennifer came back, Natalie would only see him two or three times a month. Now, Natalie ran into him two or three times a day. 

Natalie pulled over and asked him, “Mr. Garcia, do you need something?” 

Surprisingly, he had the patience to wait for her here. 

In the past, it was always Natalie waiting for Easton.
