Easton’s hand clenched slightly at his side. “I’m just stating the facts, not bullying her.”
Valerie saw something in his eyes.
She frowned slightly and said, “It seems I’ll have to sever the bond between you and Natalie. You’ve hurt her deeply, and you’ll make her suffer and ruin her. If that’s the case, I’ll have to end it now.”
“You wouldn’t dare,” Easton growled, his eyes filled with murderous intent.
“Valerie, I know exactly who you are. If you interfere with my marriage or cut off the connection, I’ll make you regret it. I’ll reduce astrology agency to rubble,” he threatened.

Valerie wasn’t intimidated. “You can try, but I won’t let my best friend be shattered beyond repair.” She had already made up her mind.
Easton’s threat had no effect on her, and rage surged within him. His fists clenched tighter, veins bulging against his skin.
A chilling wave of hostility radiated from him, like a storm ready to consume everything around it. Valerie frowned but showed no fear.
By this time, Natalie had finished changing.
“Valerie, let’s go.“** She grabbed her suitcase.
Seeing how unwell Natalie looked, Valerie gently took the suitcase from her hands and followed her downstairs.
When they reached the ground floor, Easton’s phone rang–it was Jennifer. He glanced at Natalie, who walked ahead with her head lowered, and
chose not to answer.
“Take my car back. Natalie, don’t even think about playing any tricks,” Easton warned coldly.
Valerie snapped, “Shut up, you bastard! Can’t you see she’s not doing well?”
Easton’s gaze remained frigid. “I think she’s just scared.”
Natalie suddenly lifted her head and locked eyes with him. “Where is Jennifer?”
Easton stared back at her. “The Simpson residence.”
“I’ll go to the Simpson residence. I’m not afraid, and I won’t run. You don’t need to worry about me pulling any tricks. Do you remember what I told you before?” Natalie said.
“The way you bullied me–I’ll pay it back in kind. So yes, I’ll go meet Jennifer and Murray.” With that, she walked away.
Easton’s face remained cold as he got into his car.
Once Natalie was seated inside, she called Luna. “Luna, get the footage of Jennifer ordering someone to hit Mrs. Spencer’s bodyguard with a car.”
“Deliver it to the Simpson residence. If I’m not there yet, wait for me at the entrance. If the bodyguard has recovered, bring him along,” she added.
“Got it, Ms. Shawn,*** Luna replied.
Valerie drove the car, simmering with anger. She didn’t ask Natalie what had happened–whatever it was, she’d find out soon enough when they arrived at the Simpson residence.
The drive took an hour, and Natalie remained silent the entire way, her eyes closed as if resting.
Easton’s car followed Natalie all the way until it stopped in front of the Simpson residence.
Luna was already waiting by the entrance. Seeing Natalie step out of her car, she walked over. “Ms. Shawn!”
Natalie looked at her and asked, “Is everything ready?”
Luna glanced at the car and replied, “It’s ready. The bodyguard is inside, and the video has been sent to Murray. If that fool still refuses to believe it after watching the video, I’ll find a chance to get rid of him.”
Her voice was cold. Carl had already prepared everything.
Natalie smiled and patted her on the arm. “Don’t worry! Murray isn’t that stupid. Let’s head inside first. I’ll call you in a bit, and you can bring that

Luna nodded and sent another video to Natalie.
Easton drove his car straight into the Simpson residence. Valerie and Natalie walked in, taking a little time as they made their way inside.
Murray had arrived with ten bodyguards, making the Simpson residence’s hall feel cramped.
As soon as Natalie and the others entered, Jennifer rushed over, sobbing, and threw herself into Easton’s arms.
“Easton, you’re finally here! You have to help me! I never did anything against the Spencer family!” Jennifer cried.
Easton gently patted her back, but his eyes instinctively turned toward Natalie.
Her expression was calm, completely devoid of emotion, which inexplicably made Easton feel angry.
“Natalie, why did you frame Jennifer?” Nick was the first one to accuse her.
Wendy, who had initially felt guilty toward Natalie, quickly lost that guilt upon hearing the two men claim that Natalie had framed Jennifer.
“Natalie, how could you be so wicked? I never should have given birth to you. If I’d known you would turn out like this, I would’ve strangled you at birth,” Wendy spat, glaring at Natalie with hatred.
Hearing these words, Natalie’s face twisted with pain. Valerie also felt a sharp pang in her heart, unable to believe that a mother could say such a thing.
Meanwhile, Jennifer, still nestled in Easton’s embrace, flashed a triumphant smile. ‘Natalie, today will be your downfall.
Jennifer had known Murray would come, so she had made all the necessary arrangements in advance.
Murray spotted Natalie as soon as she arrived. Still nursing a grudge from the humiliation she had caused him that night, he was determined to punish her today.
He would ensure she ended up in jail for hiring someone to commit murder.
He gave Natalie a wicked look. “Natalie, you were quite cocky that night. You broke both my wrists and slapped me ten times. But now I’ve found evidence. Everything that happened back then was your doing, and you even framed Jennifer.”
Natalie regarded him with cold indifference. She knew that Murray wasn’t completely in the dark about the truth–he simply hadn’t bothered to investigate.
Even geniuses have their foolish moments.
Suddenly, Murray’s phone buzzed with a new video. As he watched it, fury clouded his eyes.
He was almost tricked by Jennifer again.
Valerie smiled sweetly. “Mr. Spencer, why don’t you call the police? Things will be much fairer with the police involved.”
Murray was momentarily dazzled by Valerie’s beauty. “Alright! Since such a lovely lady suggested it, let’s call the police.”
He made the call.
At the mention of the police, the two men kneeling on the floor panicked.
One of them pointed at Valerie and shouted angrily, “Natalie! You’re the one who ordered us to do so! If anyone’s going to jail, it should be you!”
Valerie froze, and so did everyone else.
Jennifer’s expression darkened. ‘Idiot. How could he…
Valerie gave a mischievous smile. “I didn’t order you to do anything. Take a good look at my face. Are you sure it was really me?”
The man, now desperate to avoid prison, tried to pin the blame on Natalie. “Yes! Natalie, I know you! You paid each of us $150,000 and told us to hit Mrs. Spencer’s bodyguard.”
Jennifer was shocked, and Nick wanted to destroy these two idiots, who mistook Valerie for Natalie.
A glint of anger flashed in Valerie’s eyes. Looking at the man, she asked, “Have you really seen me? Are you sure that I’m the one who paid you $300,000?”

The man was unsure. He had never seen Natalie, but since Valerie had confronted him, he assumed that she was Natalie.
“It was you; I’m sure of it!” he said firmly.
Easton’s face dropped. He pushed Jennifer away, walked over, and looked down at the man. “Are you really sure that she is Natalie?”
The man was intimidated by Easton’s chilling aura.
He answered in a trembling voice. “Yes, I’m sure she is the one who paid us $300,000 and asked us to frame Ms. Simpson.”
